Chen Dian, born in 1957, a native of Tangshan, Hebei Province, a member of the Hebei Artists Association, a famous Zen painter in China, was born in an art family, and began to learn painting at the age of 7 under the influence of his brother, the famous painter Chen Lei. In 1984, he joined the Hebei Artists Association, specializing in the creation of figure and landscape paintings. Over the years, Mr. Chen Dian has concentrated on the study of Zen painting techniques, with Buddhism and Taoist stories as the theme, and created religious paintings, which not only artistically expounded the connotation of religion, but also reached the point of perfection in character modeling and artistic expression.
