According to **, the Hongqiao hub is expected to have a total passenger flow of 22 million during the Spring Festival in 2024, which will hit a record high. To this end, since February 6, Minhang District has organized more than 500 government cadres and volunteers to be distributed in key areas of the hub to provide on-site consultation and guidance services for tourists.
During the Spring Festival, Minhang volunteers will stick to their posts, warmly receive passengers, and use their enthusiasm to let passengers from all over the world feel the "Shanghai temperature". Let's take a look at their volunteer notes
"The wind blows, the sweat is hot, but the heart is very warm".

On the day of duty, it coincided with the first day of the peak flow of passengers returning to Shanghai, and most of the pedestrians who were in a hurry asked volunteers for directions, such as "how to take the high-speed rail", "the taxi location is in **", "you can take the subway", and so on. Among them, there were two passengers who impressed me.
The first passenger was an elderly man who came up to me with his luggage and said he wanted to take an international flight and asked how to get there. I told him to walk all the way to the Hongqiao Airport terminal. Unexpectedly, he told me that he was going to Pudong Airport. My colleagues and I were taken aback and quickly told him that this was Hongqiao Airport and that he should have gone to the wrong airport. After talking, we learned that he arrived in Shanghai by high-speed train from Wenzhou and hoped to take an international flight from Shanghai to go abroad.
Later, we carefully and repeatedly confirmed the location of the airport and the flight time with him, and told him that he could take Metro Line 2 to Pudong International Airport, but the old man said that he had never taken the Shanghai subway and did not know how to operate. So I asked my colleague to stay at his post, led him to the subway transfer area, helped him buy a ticket, and sent him to the subway gate. Seeing the old man constantly thanking me, I also felt a wave of warmth in my heart.
At about five o'clock in the afternoon, several passengers walked towards us with a blind man in their arms. After confirming the identity of our volunteers, they said that the blind man was met on the subway, and that the high-speed rail train that his friend helped buy was this morning, but has now missed the departure time, and hopes to get our help.
Volunteers support blind passengers
After the enthusiastic passenger left, my colleague and I comforted the blind passenger and asked him about the basic situation, and learned that his destination was Nanjing. I checked the train numbers on my mobile phone and found that within an hour, there were still tickets available for the high-speed train from Shanghai Hongqiao to Nanjing.
After being instructed, my colleague was responsible for supporting the blind passenger, while I carried his luggage and rushed to the manual ticket window together. Considering the actual situation of blind passengers walking slowly, in order to hurry, I pulled my luggage to explore the road in front, and then signaled them to follow after clarifying the direction, trying not to take the wrong road. Finally, at the manual ticket window, the blind passenger successfully changed his ticket and got the high-speed rail ticket that departed within an hour. There was no time to rest, so we continued to rush to the departure level, and finally helped the blind passenger enter the station and handed him over to the station staff smoothly. On the way back to work, we were blowing the cold wind, but we were sweating hot, and our hearts were warm.
Give people roses, and leave a lingering fragrance in your hands. Some of the volunteers and the tourists only pass by, and some are just a one-sided relationship, but they still hope to show them the friendship of the people of Shanghai and the refined urban management of Minhang with their sincere attitude and meticulous and patient service.
At night, some colleagues have to stick to the early hours of the morning, although the cold wind is biting and the crowd is surging, but they can't stop the enthusiasm of the little friends. Colleagues do their best to provide help to every passenger at the point, so that this "volunteer blue" becomes the warmth of the winter night.
