The opening ceremony focused on the intangible cultural heritage items of martial arts, such as Xiong's Yijin Sutra, Wing Chun and Pak Mei Boxing, which carry rich historical and cultural connotations and reflect the unique martial arts heritage in the Canton area. At the opening ceremony, the audience enjoyed the combination of rigidity and softness in Taijiquan's "Eight Methods and Five Steps" project, watched the superb performances of hundreds of martial arts enthusiasts up close, and felt the unique charm of Chinese martial arts.
