In 2023, Ferrari sold a total of 13,663 cars, an increase of 3% compared to 2022. Demand is so strong that all existing models are sold out throughout 2025, meaning new orders will not be delivered until 2026 at the earliest. Despite the challenge of managing a large number of orders, Ferrari will launch three new models this year.
Unsurprisingly, the Italian exotic brand remains tight-lipped about what we'll see in 2024, but we have some ideas. There's a good chance that a new supercar will come out sometime in the next 11 months. As can be seen from the spy photos of the prototype carrying the production body, it is said that the successor of the Laferrari is known internally by the code name "F250". For the first time since the F40, there are rumours that Ferrari will not opt for the V12.
According to the report, the supercar will be downsized and powered by a plug-in hybrid twin-turbo V6 engine derived from the 296 GTB, 296 GT3 and 499P endurance cars. Ferrari allegedly intends to produce 599 coupes, 199 convertibles and 30 hardcore xx models, for a total of 828 units. We will probably only see this coupe this year, with production scheduled to begin at the end of 2024. The xx model is said to be in production in 2027, while the convertible is apparently set to hit the market in 2028. According to a member of the Italian Automotive Pareri Forum, the last cars will be assembled in 2030.
Another car that could debut this year is a replacement for the 812 Superfast. It has been spotted in several tests with a Roma bodywork, and it is almost confirmed that it uses a naturally aspirated V12. At the end of last year, Ferrari admitted that the turbo V8 outperformed the NA V12. Back in May 2021, the company promised a more powerful twelve-cylinder engine with more horsepower than the 812 Superfast and Daytona SP830.
It's unclear what the third car will be, with some possibilities including an Icona model, a Purosague SUV derivative or a one-off model. Since Ferrari's first electric car will be released in 2025, it won't be the long-promised electric car. At the same time, a building for the production of zero-emission vehicles will be completed this year.
