In order to continue to promote the special action to crack down on smuggling during the "two festivals", on the first day of the Lunar New Year, law enforcement officers of the Guangxi Fangchenggang Coast Guard Bureau seized four suspected smuggling cases in a row, with a value of about 6 million yuan.

At about 1 a.m. on February 10, when the bureau's law enforcement boat was patrolling the waters near East Bay, it found a high-horsepower motorboat with its navigation lights turned off, carrying a large number of goods packed in green woven bags in its cabin, and its appearance was very suspicious. The coast guard officers immediately approached him and shouted to stop the boat for inspection, but the motorboat refused to stop and speed up, and was finally forced to stop and arrested.

After inspection, the motorboat was loaded with about 16 tons of frozen products such as cooked pork belly, beef offal, chicken feet, etc., and no legal procedures and inspection and quarantine certificates of the batch of frozen products were found, which was suspected of smuggling.

In addition, the bureau also seized 3 cases of suspected smuggling of frozen products at 9 o'clock, 13 o'clock and 15 o'clock on the same day in the waters near Erbailong, Pearl Bay and Baisha Bay, arrested 4 people involved in the case, seized 3 high-horsepower motorboats suspected of smuggling, and seized 11 frozen products such as tripe2 tons. At present, the bureau has seized the above-mentioned ships and frozen goods in accordance with the law, and the case is under further investigation.

In the next step, the China Coast Guard will continue to strengthen the control of its jurisdiction, severely crack down on all kinds of illegal and criminal actions at sea, build a strong maritime security defense line, make every effort to maintain the safety and stability of the sea areas under its jurisdiction, and guard the lights of thousands of homes with perseverance and dedication.
