Chapter 43 of the Tao Te Ching says: "The softest in the world, the strongest in the world." "It's an indisputable fact that you can overcome strength. The same is true in practice, if the mind is too heavy, too hasty, and too strong in body and mind, it is easy to have problems.

At this time, it is necessary to adjust the heart, pranayama, and body to make it soft and show vitality.

We are too impatient in our daily lives, and we are eager to get something in return as soon as we give a little, or even think about pie in the sky when we don't pay. In practice, too, I meditated hard and boiled my legs, thinking about quickly cultivating into a double plate, and after reading some Buddhist scriptures and Taoist books, I thought that I would become a Buddha and become an immortal immediately. The mind is too eager to move forward steadily.

Adjusting the heart is to let the mind go gently, not so attached to things, empty in the heart, and soft in the heart. Don't be in a hurry to judge what is right or wrong, and use your heart to understand yourself and the things around you.

When the mind is stable and soft, the breath is slowly and evenly, the breath is soft and long, slowly filling the whole body, and collecting external energy through the breath to irrigate the whole body. Breath is a key in practice, because the mind is not easy to control and the personality is difficult to change, but the breath can be adjusted through human control. Every time you meditate, you can perform abdominal exhalation, inhale deeply into the abdomen, observe the coming and going of the exhalation, slowly, cold and warm, in and out, and keep your mind coming and going with the breath.

Pranayama is the best and easiest thing to do, with a little attention to it, and at the same time, it can be fixed by adjusting the breath, so it is the best place to do it.

Adjusting the body is soft, which determines the smoothness of the meridians, and generally adjusting the body is carried out on the basis of adjusting the heart and pranayama, but for dancers and acrobats, their bodies are very soft after long-term training, and ordinary people also need to go through long-term hard training. When the body is soft, you can sit still when you meditate, and if you sit for a long time, the meridians of the body can be smooth, and there will be fewer diseases and pains, which will reduce many obstacles for continuing further cultivation.

Through exercise and stretching, increase the core strength of the body and improve the flexibility of the body, as the saying goes: "The tendons are one inch long, and the life is ten years." This is very reasonable, the body's qi and blood run all rely on the meridians, the meridians are smooth, the qi and blood run smoothly, there is no blockage in the body, the natural passage does not hurt, and it can maintain a good physical condition, and the youth is permanent.

Taking softness as a degree is a sign of judging whether the practice is on the way, and many people may disdain the double plate, but in fact, whether it can be double and the time of the double plate is indeed the best indicator of the state of practice. If the body is not soft, it is difficult to sit on both sides, the heart is not soft, the breathing is not smooth, and it is difficult to sit for a long time, and it is even more difficult to practice deeply.

In this case, we should have the state of a practitioner, practice firmly, overcome our desires little by little, and make progress in many things that make you miserable.
