Zheng Qinwen

Zheng Qinwen's opponent in the 1 4 finals is the world's No. 1 Swiatek, which will be the sixth time that Chinese Jinhua has challenged Poland, and Zheng Qinwen has lost all of the previous five meetings between the two sides. The last meeting between the two was at the United Cup earlier this year, when Swiatek won 6-2 6-3, and this time they met again, can Zheng Qinwen get his first win?

Despite an upset in the third round of the Australian Open, Swiatek has been in a dominant season in the Middle East, winning the WTA 1000 Doha last week without dropping a set and beating Stephens and Svitolina in Dubai to reach the quarter-finals.

In her post-match interview, Swiatek looked ahead to the matchup with Zheng: "She [Zheng] is improving, but I think I can still play at a high level against her. I know she made it to the final of the Australian Open, but I haven't watched her fight, and after she was out [of the third round of the Australian Open], I didn't care about tennis at all, so it's hard for me to judge her performance. She's in a stage of rapid growth right now, and every player has been that way since their age. ”

WTA Dubai quarterfinals matchup:

Gauff[3] vs Karinskaya[Q].
