It seems that Xiaomi is putting the finishing touches on a new gaming laptop. The Redmi G Pro 2024, previously known as TM2211, will be launched later this year, with Intel Raptor Lake-H processors and modern NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40-Series GPUs.
A few weeks ago, Xiaomi launched the "14" update of the Redmi Book 16 and Redmi Book 2024. Xiaomi is apparently preparing an equivalent update for the Redmi G Pro, a 16-inch gaming laptop that was last upgraded at the end of 2022.
To recap, until recently, Xiaomi sold the Redmi G Pro with AMD Ryzen 7 6800H and a 240 Hz display and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU. For the 2024 update, it seems that the Redmi G Pro will get an updated Intel Raptor Lake-H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40-series GPU, although we do not rule out that a model based on the Ryzen 8040 will eventually be launched as well.
In any case, Geekbench confirmed that Xiaomi will pair the Redmi G Pro 2024, codenamed "TM2211", with a Core i5-14500HX processor, a GeForce RTX 4060 GPU and 16 GB DDR5 RAM with a clock of 5586 Mt S. By the way, the same benchmarks show that the Core i5-14500HX delivers 4A peak clock speed of 9 GHz with an overclocking of 13500 MHz compared to the Core i200HX. All other core components remain the same, though, such as 8 efficient cores and 24 MB of L3 cache. While the release date is currently unknown, a previous 'TM2211' leak suggests that Xiaomi is also planning to launch a Core i9-14900HX version.
