How terrible would it be if Indochina were to unite into one country?
The entire Indochina Peninsula has a territory of more than 2 million square kilometers, with a population of 300 million, and its strategic location is extremely important, bordering two oceans on the left and right, connecting East Asia and China in the north, and Indonesian Islands and Australia in the south.
In fact, there is no shortage of countries in Indochina that want to unify the peninsula. As early as Cambodia during the feudal dynasty and Vietnam in the last century, a total of three countries tried to unify the Indochina Peninsula, but the results all ended in failure.
If the Indochina Peninsula is reunified, it will pose a great strategic threat to our country; first of all, any country in the world adjacent to a big country can feel the danger of existence.
If a giant country emerges in China's southern Xinjiang, there may never be a day of peace on the southern border.
Secondly, the Indochina Peninsula is always affecting the oil transportation routes, whether it is land or sea, it is completely "stuck", not to mention that China plans to build an outlet to the sea in India in the future.
Thirdly, the current situation in the South China Sea is very chaotic, and it will be even more difficult for another giant country to reclaim the South China Sea. Moreover, the initiator, the US imperialists, likes to get involved in international affairs and acts as a-stirring stick, eager to add chaos to chaos in the South China Sea.
Therefore, the peninsula must not be reunified and become a serious danger to China's henchmen; on the contrary, a loose peninsula is more conducive to China's strategic environmental security and to China's peaceful rise.
