Sprinkle love all over the world

——Deng Yingchao's heartwarming story

Pontinya. Introduction: In his revolutionary career of more than 70 years, Deng Yingchao has unreservedly dedicated everything and made outstanding contributions to China's revolution, construction and reform. She was an outstanding representative of Chinese women in the 20 th century, and was deeply respected and loved by the whole party and the people of the whole country. Writer Bingxin once praised her like this: "The most understanding, the most caring, and the most sympathetic to all people, and a generation of great women who have sprinkled love and sympathy all over the world." "On the occasion of the 120th anniversary of Deng Yingchao's birth, let us revisit those heart-warming stories, feel her great personality and spiritual demeanor, and express our highest respect and deep remembrance to her.

At the age of 12, she was determined to "lift up her spirits and seek the progress of the country"; At the age of 15, he walked on the streets of Tianjin, shouting "fight for sovereignty outside, except for **" at the age of 21, he joined the Communist Party of China and established a lifelong belief ...... communismShe is Deng Yingchao, a great proletarian revolutionary, politician, and pioneer of the Chinese women's movement. Whether it was in the revolutionary war years, the period of socialist revolution and construction, or the new period of reform, opening up and socialist modernization, we can see Deng Yingchao's unremitting progress.

Half a century of friendship with Song Qingling and He Xiangning

Deng Yingchao and Soong Ching-ling met in the torrent of the Great Revolution, in the flames of the Kuomintang-Communist cooperation, and in the cry of civil war against Chiang Kai-shek and for peace. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, they worked together for the development of the cause of women and children, and established lifelong friendship.

As a representative of the Communists in the women's world, Deng Yingchao's gentle demeanor, firm determination, and tenacious fighting spirit deeply moved Song Qingling, and also deepened her understanding and respect for the Communist Party. Therefore, on the eve of the ceremony to celebrate the birth of the People's Republic of China, ** and *** entrusted Deng Yingchao to go to Shanghai to welcome Song Qingling to go north to discuss the state of the country. For Soong Ching Ling, Beiping is the place where Sun Yat-sen died, the place where she is sad, and the place she does not want to return. Deng Yingchao understood Song Qingling's mood, and talked with Song Qingling many times, opening her heart knot. The sincere emotions flowing in Deng Yingchao's words warmed and moved Song Qingling. On September 1, 1949, Deng Yingchao accompanied Song Qingling to arrive at Beiping Railway Station by car, and other leaders came to greet him in person. Soong Ching Ling's trip to the north is of extraordinary significance, indicating that the Communist Party of China will work with all parties and the people of the whole country to build a united and harmonious new society.

In the early spring of 1981, Song Qingling was seriously ill in bed, and Deng Yingchao went to visit her on behalf of the ** Standing Committee. Deng Yingchao greeted cordially: "Is it okay to call you Comrade Qingling?" A smile instantly appeared on Song Qingling's face and nodded. In the last moments of his life, Soong Ching-ling's greatest wish was to join the Communist Party of China. Deng Yingchao promised to report her wish to *** In the afternoon of the same day, the Politburo held a meeting and unanimously decided to accept Comrade Soong Ching Ling as a full member of the Communist Party of China. Deng Yingchao later said in an article commemorating Soong Ching Ling: "You kissed my hands frequently like the older generation of revolutionaries and like a loving mother, and I kissed your hands affectionately and affectionately, and when I said goodbye to you, I hugged you and kissed you on the cheek." At this moment, I am still very excited. This is not a revolutionary relationship between you and me, but a reflection of your love and trust in the party and your deep friendship with the party. [1] The poetic language conveys the deep affection of the two for half a century.

On the wall of the living room of the West Flower Hall in Zhongnanhai, Beijing, there is an art work of "Old Plum and New Branches and Double Peonies" created by He Xiangning, which is the silver wedding anniversary she gave to Deng Yingchao for the 25th wedding anniversary, and the work is full of her deep affection for Deng Yingchao and *** [2]. He Xiangning was the first female member of the China League and a veteran of the Kuomintang. After the assassination of her husband Liao Zhongkai, He Xiangning did not flinch, and wrote the words "spiritual immortality" to express her will, continue to adhere to the revolution, and become a close friend of the Communist Party of China that can be trusted.

Deng Yingchao and He Xiangning met in Guangzhou during the Great Revolution, and He Xiangning witnessed Deng Yingchao and *** tie the knot. They have an age difference of 26 years, one is a Communist Party recruit, the other is a Kuomintang veteran; One is young and the other is old and strong, but there seems to be no age, let alone partisan barrier between them. After Deng Yingchao learned that Liao Zhongkai was assassinated, she cared about He Xiangning's life and health, and took the initiative to take on the work of the Women's Department to prevent her from being distracted. When holding a state funeral for Liao Zhongkai, Deng Yingchao was always by her side. Because He Xiangning can only speak Cantonese, in some later activities and meetings, Deng Yingchao took the initiative to act as her interpreter. Their hearts are always the same, and their goals are always the same.

When He Xiangning was seriously ill in her later years, she made a reluctant request to the *** who came to visit her, hoping to be buried with Liao Zhongkai after her death, so as to fulfill her wish of "being born with the same bed, and dying with the same cave". ** Granted her request. After He Xiangning passed away, according to ***'s arrangement, Deng Yingchao personally escorted her coffin to Nanjing to be buried with Liao Zhongkai.

The little-known "Mrs. Li Zhifan".

In 1941, a non-fiction literary work entitled "Mrs. Li Zhifan" was published in the "Women's Knowledge Series" published in Shanghai. Forty years later, the article with the same title was republished in the magazine "Lookout", which attracted widespread attention. The author of this article, Hu Xingfen, is a talented woman at Tsinghua University in the 30s of the 20th century, with the pen name "Jingsan". The "Mrs. Li Zhifan" mentioned in the article is Deng Yingchao. Hu Xingfen actually told a little-known story between her and Deng Yingchao in the article.

Before the Red Army's Long March, the harsh life in the Soviet area seriously damaged Deng Yingchao's health. In August 1934, doctors diagnosed her with tuberculosis. Due to the lack of effectiveness, Deng Yingchao's condition became more and more serious, so that it developed to a big **. In order not to increase the burden on the organization, Deng Yingchao proposed to stay in the Jiangxi base area to persist in the struggle, but the organization did not approve it, but let her move with the recuperation company. Many people were worried that she would not survive, but with her firm belief in the revolution and tenacious willpower, she followed the large army from Ruijin to northern Shaanxi, and completed the Long March with illness. After arriving in northern Shaanxi, Deng Yingchao's condition became more serious, because of the shortage of anti-tuberculosis drugs, she used "natural **" according to the doctor's advice to lie on the door panel outside the cave every day to relieve her condition by basking in the sun and breathing fresh air.

On December 12, 1936, the Xi'an Incident occurred. In accordance with the spirit of the instructions of the Communist Party of China, we have vigorously urged the peaceful settlement of the Xi'an Incident, and the domestic political environment has improved. **It was decided that Deng Yingchao, as Mrs. Li Zhifan, secretly went to the Fushouling Sanatorium in Xishan, Beiping**Tuberculosis. It is far away from the downtown area, and the environment is quiet, which is suitable for recuperation. Hu Xingfen also happened to be recuperating in this nursing home and shared the same room with Deng Yingchao. At that time, Hu Xingfen was deeply tormented by illness and personal emotional problems, with a withdrawn temperament and lost confidence in life for a while. Deng Yingchao sympathized with and took care of this little sister, she said to Hu Xingfen: In this double ward, you can enjoy the rights of a single ward, when to open and close the windows, when to close the curtains, it is up to you to decide. In just a few words, the distance between each other has been shortened. Deng Yingchao affectionately called Hu Xingfen "dear kitten"; Hu Xingfen affectionately called Deng Yingchao "my wife". In the days of getting along day and night, Deng Yingchao deeply influenced Hu Xingfen with her enthusiasm, cheerfulness, optimism and open-mindedness, guided her to care about the fate of the nation and the safety of the country, and encouraged her to get out of the small circle of personal feelings. Deng Yingchao gradually changed Hu Xingfen's pessimism and also changed her temperament. Hu Xingfen began to accept the revolutionary principles and tried to choose a new life. Soon after, Hu Xingfen learned Deng Yingchao's true identity and met *** to be further influenced by the two revolutionaries.

After the outbreak of the National War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Deng Yingchao left the sanatorium and threw himself into the flames of the War of Resistance Against Japan. In 1939, Hu Xingfen wrote an article entitled "Mrs. Li Zhifan", describing the amiable and respectable Deng Yingchao in her eyes. Regarding this article, Deng Yingchao later said: If it weren't for Miss Hu's high attainments, there would not be that "Mrs. Li" in the pen!

In the winter of 1940, Hu Xingfen died due to deteriorating conditions at the age of 26. During Hu Xingfen's illness, Deng Yingchao and *** mentioned visiting her, but they were too busy with work and never got their wish. After Hu Xingfen died of illness, Deng Yingchao and *** chose a simple tombstone for her, and went to the cemetery to visit this friend to express their late sorrow.

Care about the growth of Yuan Xuefen, the founder of the Yue Opera Yuan School

For young people, Deng Yingchao has a motherly care. In 1954, during his participation in the Geneva Conference, he brought the color opera film "The History of Liang Zhu Mourning". The film is known as the Chinese version of "Romeo and Juliet". China's Romeo and Juliet are famous in Geneva, and even the world-famous performing artist Chaplin expressed their affection. And one of the protagonists is the founder of the Yue Opera Yuan School - Yuan Xuefen. In the process of Yuan Xuefen's growth, Deng Yingchao poured a lot of effort into it.

In July 1949, ** sent a letter to Deng Yingchao, who was in Shanghai, asking Deng Yingchao to talk to Yuan Xuefen and inviting her to Beiping to attend the New CPPCC meeting. Two months later, Yuan Xuefen came to Beiping from Shanghai to attend the first plenary session of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) as a freelance representative and attend the founding ceremony. Yuan Xuefen was enterprising, joined the Communist Youth League in 1950, and became a glorious member of the Communist Party of China in 1954.

Shortly after the New Political Association, Yuan Xuefen was hospitalized for lung disease. Deng Yingchao was very concerned after knowing about it, and wrote to her on April 20, 1950, telling her with his personal experience: As long as you don't commit acute illness and fight against the disease with all your might, victory will definitely belong to you. Yuan Xuefen's lung disease**, when she was depressed and anxious, Deng Yingchao wrote to her, asking her to listen to the doctor's words and rest assured**. Deng Yingchao said: "This is not a 'boring' life, but a meaning of life. "When a Communist Party member is working, he should train himself to serve the people wholeheartedly; When you are sick, you should train yourself wholeheartedly to win the battle against the disease. Only in this way can we return to work faster and continue to serve the people. [3] Deng Yingchao spoke very thoroughly about the dialectical relationship between work and treatment, and these words had an important impact on Yuan Xuefen's thinking.

Yuan Xuefen added the strength to defeat the disease from Deng Yingchao's warm letter. Deng Yingchao hopes that Yuan Xuefen can be transferred to Beijing** and help arrange; Yuan Xuefen didn't want to disturb this intimate eldest sister too much. Deng Yingchao said to her affectionately: "As a gay relationship, as my responsibility to serve women, as an audience who loves your art, it is incumbent on me to serve you." ”[4]

"We're a family."

Deng Yingchao has been engaged in women's work for a long time, and she warms everyone around her with her mother-like love.

Zhang Caizhen is an alumnus of Nankai Middle School, and has worked with Deng Yingchao in Shanghai in the White Terror, Deng Yingchao served as the secretary of the general branch of the Communist Party of China, and Zhang Caizhen was a member of the general branch. In 1930, when Zhang Caizhen was transferred to Wuhan to work, he was betrayed by a traitor and died at the age of 25. After Deng Yingchao got the news, he immediately went to visit Su Cai, the wife of martyr Zhang Caizhen, comforted her, encouraged her, and hoped that she would take good care of her body and the child who was still in her womb at that time, and raise her young daughter Mingming. Su Cai later took the children to live at his mother's house in Beijing, and Deng Yingchao expressed his concern and love for them in the form of letters.

The only correspondence between Deng Yingchao and Su Cai, which has been preserved so far, begins with the words: "Dear Sister Cai, Sister Cai, who I always remember and can't forget: I look forward to seeing your news every day, and I always see friends and friends asking you about your ......behaviorFor the orphans of martyrs, Deng Yingchao revealed deep maternal love, and she asked in the letter: "How much taller has my lovely Mingming?" Do you remember her godmother? Xiao Tie, who has never met, is so fat and cute! Iron! Willing iron can hammer away our hatred. May you teach Iron and Light like this. [5] The letter, which is less than 500 words, is full of warmth.

After the outbreak of the all-out Anti-Japanese War, the Ming sisters and brothers followed their grandmother to Hong Kong. In 1938, when Deng Yingchao went to Hong Kong to meet friends from all walks of life to promote the CCP's ** policy, he went to visit the Ming Ming sisters and brothers, hugged them and said: "Do you remember your godmother?" Since then, the sensible Ming Ming has left an amiable impression of Mother Deng in his mind. In 1948, Deng Yingchao, who was participating in the land reform in Xigou Village, Fuping County, learned that a comrade was going to Hong Kong, so he asked this comrade to bring greetings and encouragement to Su Cai and the children, as well as his own participation in the land reform. Deng Yingchao became the most important guide in their siblings' lives.

There are many orphans of martyrs, descendants of revolutionaries, and children of ordinary people who have enjoyed Deng Yingchao's mother's love. Outside the Chongwen Gate in old Beijing, there used to be an alley, which was named after a person surnamed Tang who made a living by washing cloth and silk in the Ming Dynasty, and was called "Tang Xibo Street". In the early 60s of the 20th century, a couple living in this alley passed away one after another, leaving behind five children, the eldest was 15 years old, and the youngest was just 3 years old. After the incident, neighbors and all walks of life extended a helping hand to them, and the party and ** paid great attention to it. Unexpectedly, this incident quickly alarmed Zhongnanhai and Deng Yingchao. Under the care of the party and the whole society, the children have not lost their love because of the loss of their parents, and they have all received due care. On August 17, 1964, Deng Yingchao was entrusted by *** to send a car to take 5 children to the Great Hall of the People to have a party with foreign children. During the banquet, Deng Yingchao told them, "**I care about you very much, **I am very busy with work, he asked me to say hello to you, I hope you will not live up to the care and hope of the party and the people for you, and you must study hard and work hard." Deng Yingchao also said: "From now on, we will be a family. The phrase "we are a family" has been remembered in the hearts of children for a lifetime.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is a time for family reunions. On the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival in 1988, Deng Yingchao invited the children to the West Flower Hall for a reunion. The five children of that year have already started a family. Before entering the house, a large family called up, some called Mother Deng, and some called Grandma Deng. Deng Yingchao was very happy and said: "Today is the Mid-Autumn Festival, let's have a reunion festival together as a family." He pointed to the mooncakes on the table and said, "This is the date-paste mooncake that I specially asked the chef to prepare for you." The word "deliberately" was deeply imprinted in the heart of Lao Sanzhou Tonglai. "It gives us a taste of the love of a great mother and a sense of home," he said. Mother Deng looked at everyone happily, chatted about family life, and asked about everyone's study and work. The children excitedly reported their respective situations, and Deng Yingchao said with a satisfied smile: You should love the party, the motherland, and the people more than other children, and become useful talents for the motherland. While Deng Yingchao was hospitalized, the children went to visit her in the hospital. She always said with relief: "Our family is together again." Deng Yingchao never talked about his own illness, and always cared about others. Once, Deng Yingchao said to the children very guiltily: "I forgot to tell you last time, say hello to the people who care about your growth on my behalf!" Deng's mother's strong love left a deep imprint on the hearts of the five siblings [6].

Begonia cherry blossoms complement each other

Deng Yingchao's maternal love transcends national borders, and many children of foreign friends also affectionately call her Mother Deng. The son of a Japanese friend, Koichi Saionji, is one of them. Koichi Saionji is an old friend of the Chinese people, and is known as Japan's "non-governmental ambassador" and has made important contributions to the cause of Sino-Japanese friendship. In 1958, he and his family moved to China, where they lived in Beijing for 13 years. At that time, Saionji was still a child.

The first time I met Deng's mother in Xiyuan Temple was when I went to the West Flower Hall with my parents. Lots of stuff in the living room, neat and clean. After the guests sat down, Deng Yingchao personally served tea to them. She was dressed plainly, so that she was mistaken for the "waiter" at home by Xiyuan Temple, until *** came over to introduce him, he didn't know that this "waiter" was the hostess of the West Flower Hall, and it was Mother Deng, who had never met but had heard of it for a long time. The home of the prime minister of a big country is so simple, and the wife of the prime minister of a big country is so frugal, which he never imagined. In order to familiarize Xiyuan Temple with the environment as soon as possible, Deng Yingchao personally hit ** and asked the school to take care of it. She also said to Xiyuan Temple: If you have any problems that you can't solve at school, just call me. Xiyuan Temple was very moved, and he later told reporters: From this day on, I will treat her as my Chinese mother and call her Mother Deng.

During lunch together, Deng Yingchao saw that Xiyuan's mother liked to eat a plate of pickles on the table, so he said to her: I have to make this pickle once a year, if you like to eat it, I will also make you one. Xiyuan's mother was very happy, but she thought it was just a diplomatic rhetoric, how could the wife of the prime minister of a big country make me pickles every year? Unexpectedly, Deng Yingchao really did this later, until the Xiyuan family left China. Xiyuan Temple said: Through this little thing, we understand what kind of person Mother Deng is. All of our children call her Mama Deng, and our mother calls her Sister Deng.

In 1979, Deng Yingchao visited Japan. Koichi Saionji took his family from Yokohama to the Hakone Kowakien Hotel and had a family-style dinner with Deng Yingchao. After this meeting, Xiyuan Temple suddenly came up with the idea of writing a book for Deng's mother, and after several years of hard work, this book "Deng Yingchao in the Eyes of a Japanese", which records Deng Yingchao's great personality and demeanor, came out. Spring is coming, Deng Yingchao's favorite begonia flowers are in full bloom, and the cherry blossoms loved by the Xiyuan family are also in full bloom.

Our eldest sister Deng

Deng Yingchao is affectionately known as our eldest sister Deng. It can be said that the word "eldest sister", for Deng Yingchao, conveys a message not about age, not status, but about comrades and friends, but also the people's respect, reverence and love for her, and infinite warmth. Deng Yingchao cares about every comrade who works beside her and ***, from work to life, it can be described as meticulous.

After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War in 1945, Cheng Yuangong was transferred to *** as a guard. When the organization talked to him, he felt a lot of psychological pressure. When he reported to Yangjialing**'s office, ** was still working in Chongqing, and the staff of the office told Cheng Yuangong that Deng Yingchao invited him to her office. Cheng Yuangong came to Deng Yingchao's office with a little nervousness and uneasiness. Deng Yingchao shook hands with him with a smile and said, "You are welcome to work here." When Deng Yingchao saw Cheng Yuangong's nervous expression, he started a routine with him: "Would you like to come here to work?" Don't report, salute, or call the chief in the future, we are all comrades, you can call me eldest sister, and I will call you Xiaocheng. Deng Yingchao's kind words instantly eliminated his nervousness.

When Cheng Yuangong went to Nanning to work with ***, it coincided with the delivery of his lover. Deng Yingchao immediately called ** to report Cheng Yuangong's safety that night, and named the child Xiao Ning. In 1954, Cheng Yuangong followed *** to Geneva for a meeting, which lasted for more than two months. In the meantime, when the begonia flowers in the West Flower Hall were in full bloom, Deng Yingchao's comrades at the meeting brought the red leaves and begonia flowers in the West Flower Hall to every comrade attending the meeting in Geneva, and wrote a gift to express condolences and signed his name. In his message to Cheng Yuangong, he wrote: "I wish you a smooth work, good health, and a happy life!" ”

On December 1, 1965, Zhao Wei was officially transferred to Deng Yingchao's office to report to work, and since then Zhao Wei has worked beside Deng Yingchao for nearly 27 years. **After her death, Zhao Wei was afraid that she would be lonely, so she never went home to live, and was always by Deng Yingchao's side. At the end of 1981, Zhao Wei fell ill and was admitted to the hospital, and due to the long hospitalization required for surgery, the Spring Festival could only be spent in the hospital. Deng Yingchao discussed with her and used "something happened in the West Flower Hall" and "overtime" to prevaricate Zhao Wei's elderly father, so that he could celebrate the New Year with peace of mind. After Zhao Wei's body recovered, Deng Yingchao took Zhao Wei's father to the West Flower Hall and personally told him why his daughter didn't go home: "I won't let you tell the old man that your daughter is sick and hospitalized for surgery, I'm afraid that you won't have a good New Year, don't blame them for this, blame me if you want to blame." "Your daughter can't do anything for you, I don't have a daughter, but I have your daughter." [7] Deng Yingchao was very understanding, and always said to those comrades who were transferred from the West Flower Hall: Although you are gone, you can often come back to the West Flower Hall in the future, and I welcome you.

The famous writer Bing Xin once said: "Everyone thinks that Sister Deng is the most broad-minded, thoughtful, and delicate woman, and her thoughts and feelings are completely used in her work and career and the people around her." She is the most understanding, caring, and sympathetic to all people, and a generation of great women who have sprinkled love and sympathy all over the world. Deng Yingchao is like this, with a lifetime of love, she warms the relatives around her, warms the friends around her, warms the children of the world, and warms all the people who love her.
