The main line of Tongxin Expressway starts from Tongzi County, Zunyi City, passes through Huichuan, Suiyang and other places, and finally ends in Xinpu New District, with a total length of 73141 kilometers, the design speed is 100 kilometers per hour, and the two-way four-lane standard construction is adopted.

The Lishuping Tunnel is a major and difficult control project of the whole line of the project, with a total length of 2,791 meters, a maximum buried depth of 205 meters, and mainly V-grade surrounding rock, especially the connecting arch tunnel in the import section, which is difficult to construct, complicated and has high safety risks.
The technical team of the project, together with industry experts, "tailor-made" to optimize the tunnel construction process, adopts the construction technology of independent double-hole tunnel with ultra-small clear distance, so that the interval is only 0The construction of the two tunnels of 66 meters is relatively independent and does not interfere with each other, setting a construction record for the independent double-hole tunnel with the smallest clear distance between the V-level surrounding rock in China.

Through the combination of "controlled blasting + mechanical excavation", the builder excavates the rock mass on both sides of the middle rock pillar in turn, which greatly reduces the impact of construction on the surrounding ecology while ensuring the safe and stable excavation of the tunnel, and solves the industry problem of disturbance caused by the blasting of the first tunnel of the very small clear distance tunnel.

There are 5710,000 square meters of red clay, which has an adverse impact on the construction of the roadbed. The "Staff Innovation Studio" of the project actively carried out research on the engineering characteristics of red clay and earth-rock mixture according to local conditions, and innovatively proposed the "three soil and one stone" mutual filling process, digesting more than 30 million square meters of red clay abandonment, and shortening the construction period by nearly 3 months.

In view of the extensive development of karst landforms and the coexistence of a variety of undesirable geologies in Guizhou, the project technical team carried out scientific research on the prevention and control of undesirable geological risks such as karst and gas, and focused on innovative research as the focus of technical control. The related research has successively obtained 7 national patents and 3 QC achievements, and the staff innovation studio has been awarded the honorary title of "Model Worker and Craftsman Talent Innovation Studio" in Guizhou Province.
