Zhang Guangjun, male, Han nationality, born in March 1965, from Hangu, Tianjin, is a member of the middle school, with a postgraduate degree, a doctorate degree in engineering, an expert in instrument science, and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (elected in 2013). He used to be the president and deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Southeast University.

Personal Circumstances:

From September 1982 to March 1991, he studied for bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in the Department of Precision Instrument Engineering of Tianjin University.

In April 1991, he joined Beihang University as a professor and was promoted to professor in August 1996.

From 2000 to 2008, he successively served as the Dean of the School of Automation Science and Electrical Engineering, the Dean of the School of Instrument Science and Optoelectronic Engineering, the Executive Vice Dean and Director of the Training Division of the Graduate School, and the Executive Vice Dean of the Graduate School of Beihang University.

In December 2008, he was appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Vice President of Beihang University, and Dean of the Graduate School.

In November 2015, he was appointed President of Southeast University.

Since April 2017, he has served as the President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Southeast University.

In November 2021, he was appointed as Vice Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology and a member of the Party Leadership Group.
