Summoning the dragon for a group photo With the passage of time, we are about to usher in the 2024 lunar year of the dragon. In Chinese culture, the dragon is a symbol of auspiciousness and dignity, representing power, glory and wisdom. To celebrate this special year, I decided to visit places related to dragons and feel the charm of dragon culture.
First of all, I came to Tongliang, Chongqing, the famous dragon city in China. It is the world's largest dragon dance performance base, and a grand dragon dance festival is held every year. Here, I witnessed the spectacular scene of the dragon dance. Dozens of huge colorful dragons fluttered and danced in the square, their movements both powerful and full of agility. The dragon dancers are dressed in gorgeous costumes and hold dragon poles to bring the dragon to life. It was as if I saw real dragons soaring in the sky, and I felt the power and majesty of the dragons.
Next, I visited the Palace Museum in Beijing. Here, I saw many artifacts and artworks related to dragons. One of the things that impressed me the most was a huge dragon mural. The dragons in the painting take different forms, some soaring through the clouds, some hovering over the sea, and some hiding in the mountains. Each dragon is drawn to life, as if it will fly out of the painting at any moment. This mural made me deeply feel the worship and reverence of ancient Chinese artists for dragons.
In addition to admiring the artwork related to dragons, I also had the opportunity to take photos with dragons firsthand. In a studio specializing in costume photography, I put on a gorgeous dragon robe and a glittering dragon crown. When I stand in front of the camera, I feel like I'm an ancient emperor, with a giant dragon flying through the clouds behind me. This feeling of dancing with dragons excites me, as if I really have some kind of mysterious connection with dragons.
Through this visit and experience, I have a deeper understanding of dragon culture. The dragon is not only an important part of traditional Chinese culture, but also a symbol of the spirit of the Chinese nation. In this Year of the Dragon, I hope that everyone can be like the dragon, with courage, wisdom and strength to meet life's challenges and opportunities.
Finally, I would like to say that taking photos with dragons is not only a form of entertainment, but also a kind of cultural inheritance and promotion. On this special day, let's celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Dragon and feel the charm of dragon culture!
