On the morning of February 2, the Zhuzhou Intermediate People's Court ushered in the young reporters of the "Hunan** New Hunan Grow Up Youth" column to understand the work of the court "zero distance".
What can this machine do? "The little reporters with childlike faces are curious about everything in the court. In the litigation service center, the staff introduced the relevant procedures of case filing, trial and enforcement, convenience measures and the work functions of the court in easy-to-understand language, so that the children had a preliminary understanding of the work of the court and the profession of judges.
What does the Civil Code have to do with us? In the small lecture hall of the rule of law, the officers and police of the Intermediate People's Court analyzed the main content, significance and some provisions closely related to the students' study and life in an interactive form and combined with typical cases in an easy-to-understand and vivid language, and told the children to learn to protect themselves with the law.
Sitting on the judgment seat felt particularly sacred. With the help of the judges, some of the children put on their robes, sat on the judgment seat, rang the gavel, and became "little judges". In order to let the young reporters truly feel the majesty of the law, the activity brought a practical lesson on the rule of law to the students by using the immersive experience of the whole process of the trial.
In this open day, the children not only learned about the common knowledge of the law, but also felt the seriousness and unique charm of the law. In the next step, the Zhuzhou Intermediate People's Court will further extend its judicial service functions, implement the responsibility system of "whoever enforces the law shall popularize the law", and strengthen the work of popularizing the law among young people through various forms such as vice principals for rule of law, rule of law on campus, and public open days, so as to interpret the court's responsibility with practical actions and fully escort the healthy growth of minors.
