Recently, there has been a worrying news on the Internet claiming that Tsinghua University will stop recruiting civil engineering majors. The news quickly sparked widespread discussion and speculation, with many expressing concern and concern about the decision. However, after the clarification of the relevant person in charge of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of Tsinghua University, we learned that this was just a misunderstanding.
According to the person in charge, Tsinghua University has implemented the reform of large-scale enrollment training and management since 2017, which is an important measure for the university to actively adapt to the development trend of higher education in the new era and improve the quality of talent training.
