Huawei Mate60 has only been sold for one quarter, and it has successfully entered the top three high-end in the world!

Some time ago, the well-known Counterpoint Research agency released the global market share of high-end mobile phones in 2023, compared to 2022, the specific proportion is shown in the figure below.

It can be seen that Apple is in first place with a share of 71%, followed by Samsung with 17%, Huawei with 5%, Xiaomi, OPPO and others with a share of % and 4%, respectively.

Compared to last year, Apple's share fell from 75% to 71%, Samsung from 16% to 17%, Huawei from 3% to 5%, and Xiaomi from 1% to 2%.

The reason why Huawei was able to rise from 3% to 5% is of course thanks to the Mate60 series, which was launched at the end of August 2023, and it quickly became the most sought-after domestic phone in the country, without one.

That is to say, Huawei Mate60, in fact, only sold a quarter, and became the top three in the world, rising from 3% to 5%, this is still in the case of insufficient supply of Huawei Mate60 series and not many goods, if the goods are open for sale, it is estimated that the share will be higher.

Of course, Xiaomi is also doing well, although it only accounts for 2%, but this share is equivalent to a 1x increase from 2022 to 2023, since in 2022 Xiaomi's share was only 1%.

Xiaomi was able to achieve such results, of course, thanks to the Xiaomi 14 mobile phone, which is really good in performance, with high configuration and strong performance, and at the same time has more and more operating system support, so sales have also increased significantly, doubling Xiaomi's share in the high-end market.

Overall, though, Apple is still king, with a top market share of more than 70%, while the two giants, Samsung, account for about 90% of the top market, while domestic brands only account for about 10%.

The data shows that in 2023, the sales of high-end mobile phones will account for about 25% of all mobile phone sales, while the sales of low-end mobile phones will account for 60%.

It can be seen that if you want to make money, you have to rely on the high-end market, low-end to support sales, and high-end to support income and profits, so domestic mobile phones still need to work hard to win more shares in the high-end market.
