Ganqiu Interchange is a key construction project in Liangjiang New Area, which is a diamond-shaped three-layer interchange. Its main structure includes a cast-in-situ variable-section box girder span bridge, a double-width, double-hole integral underpass, and buttress, cantilever, fold-back, gravity, counterweight retaining wall, etc.
The project connects Bocui Tunnel and Shajingwan Interchange in the east-west direction, and connects ** Park and Cuiyun Area in the north-south direction. Among them, the Ganqiu Interchange is connected to the Qiucheng Avenue under construction, and the Qiucheng Avenue in the direction of the ** park will be the first to be partially opened to traffic, and the remaining part will be accelerated at speed.
Liu Junyuan, the project executive manager of China Railway Bridge Bureau Group, the construction unit of the project, introduced that the upper span bridge of the Ganqiu Interchange is Bocui Avenue, which has been completed and opened to traffic in February 2023, and the remaining part is currently being completed, and it is expected to be completed and accepted in March, and officially opened to traffic in the first half of the year.
After the completion of the Ganqiu interchange, it can effectively alleviate the congestion of the Jinzhuwan interchange and better improve the traffic conditions from Caijia to the park and the two urban areas. The relevant person in charge of the Construction Bureau of Liangjiang New Area said that after the Ganqiu Interchange and Qiucheng Avenue under construction are opened to traffic, there will be a new passage between the west area of the park and Cuiyun, and the public no longer needs to detour to the "turn bridge", and the passage time will be reduced by about 10 minutes.
