One day in 1937, a baby's cry came from the cave in Yan'an, and the cry was extremely tragic, very different from the ordinary baby crying.

Sister-in-law Liu, who heard the cry, followed the sound to see what was going on.

Oops——, you men have iron hearts! Sister-in-law Liu pushed open the door of the cave, and shouted at He Zizhen, who was sitting on the kang and wiping her tears, and ***, who was smoking a cigarette and frowning, almost crying.

What is a crying baby? It turned out that she was ***'s daughter Mao Jiaojiao. Sister-in-law Liu didn't walk a few steps to ***'s residence, only to find out that the crying baby should be ***'s daughter Mao Jiaojiao.

However, she saw people in the cave from afar, why did the child cry? So, who is Sister-in-law Liu? Why does she say that "a man's heart is iron"?

What happened then? Listen to me slowly.

After He Zizhen gave birth in northern Shaanxi, he couldn't take care of *** and needed someone to take care of himself, but *** was busy with official business and couldn't take care of his family. He Zizhen was angry because she couldn't be taken care of, and once rushed home to lose her temper to ***, but *** was busy with official business and didn't want to pay attention to family matters, and finally the two quarreled.

The child who is less than one year old also cries when he hears his mother's cry, which makes *** even more irritable. Despite this, ** still cares about the safety of He Zizhen and her children, and tries to find time to take care of them in her busy official duties.

Sister-in-law Liu heard the child's cry and walked to *** and He Zizhen's residence. As soon as she entered the door, she blamed: "You men have iron hearts!" How can you throw a child on a cold kang? ”

Then, she walked briskly over to the child. Seeing that it was her, she hurriedly picked up the child and coaxed her. Sister-in-law Liu took the child and shook it while blaming them for not putting the child on the cold kang, which might make the child sick.

Sister-in-law Liu's words made *** and He Zizhen bow their heads in shame. They realized their negligence and apologized to Liu's sister-in-law: "It was we who did not do well and did not fulfill our responsibilities as parents." ”

Seeing the chairman's confession, Liu's sister-in-law's anger also disappeared: "If the husband and wife quarrel, they will be reconciled." Both of you should understand each other. Chairman, you should take more time to go home and accompany Zizhen.

Every time I come to the courtyard, I can see that she misses you. The chair nodded in agreement, indicating that that it would change. At this moment, a strong wind blew and blew away all the manuscript paper that the chairman had hung outside the cave.

The chairman immediately ran out and picked up draft paper all over the yard, running here and there. Looking at the embarrassment of the chairman picking up the draft paper, Sister-in-law Liu and He Zizhen couldn't help but laugh.

And so the quarrel ended.

*From the Internet Sister-in-law Liu looked at Mao Jiaojiao in her arms and sighed with emotion: "This child looks more and more like the chairman, except for the nose and small mouth, it is exactly the same as her mother!" ”

He Zizhen listened to Sister-in-law Liu's words, her heart was warm, and all her anger disappeared. "Sister-in-law, thanks to your help in delivering the baby, we just came here at that time, there was nothing, if it wasn't for the small quilt and diapers you prepared, the child would not know what to do after birth! ”

**After picking up the manuscript paper, I came back and expressed my heartfelt gratitude to Sister-in-law Liu. "What are you talking about! Sister-in-law Liu interrupted ***'s words and said with a smile: "Zizhen is my own sister, and there is no need to be so polite in the affairs of the family." ”

The original image is on the Internet. "If it weren't for the family, I wouldn't be able to wear these warm cotton shoes on my feet! * laughed and said that his humor amused everyone present.

* When the Red Army first arrived in northern Shaanxi, it was the coldest time. Most of these Red Army soldiers came from the south, had never experienced such a harsh winter, and wore only some thin clothes.

So when I first came to northern Shaanxi, whether it was an ordinary soldier or a senior general, everyone was shivering with cold. At that time, ** walked in the ice and snow wearing a pair of old cloth shoes, and every time I went out, I would be wet with ice and snow, and my shoes would be frozen hard.

So during that time, there was often no feeling below the calf. It wasn't until Sister-in-law Liu made him a pair of big cotton shoes that he slowly felt the presence of his feet, and he often wore them ever since.

Sister-in-law Liu, a woman from northern Shaanxi who once delivered birth for He Zizhen and made cotton shoes for ***, her real identity is not surnamed Liu, but her surname is "Tong", named Gui Rong.

She was the "Tong" of northern Shaanxi, and received many progressives who came to the holy land of revolution from the Kuomintang region, and told them about the revolutionary situation and customs in northern Shaanxi. Her husband was Liu Zhidan, a senior general of the Red Army who founded the Red Army in Northern Shaanxi and the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningbo Revolutionary Base Area, but unfortunately he died in the Eastern Expedition in 1936 at the age of 33.

The death of her husband made Gui Rong have to move forward alone in the second half of her life, and she has been reminiscing and thinking about the past of the two.

Liu Zhidan and Tong Guirong, the two families have a long history, and even the children's relatives have been discussed in advance. When Liu Zhidan was ten years old, his grandfather took him to Tongguirong's grandfather's house, and the two old men chatted about family life, and began to let the children meet.

Grandpa Tong Guirong looked at Liu Zhidan's bright eyes and his instrument, and the more he looked at it, the happier he became, so he called out his three granddaughters and let them choose for themselves.

Liu Zhidan and Tong Guirong's marriage had an interesting beginning. When the two first met, Liu Zhidan's grandfather saw that their genera were compatible, so he humorously said: "Your little granddaughter is a snake, right?"

My grandson belongs to the rabbit, and the genus is exactly the same! This interesting opening statement made Tong Guirong's grandfather also interested in this family business, so this family business was decided.

Although Tong Guirong was born in an ordinary peasant family and had no education, she was very eager to learn. After marrying Liu Zhidan, she often worried that she would be disliked by her husband because of her ignorance.

However, Liu Zhidan understood her very well and enlightened her: "No one can read and hyphenate as soon as they are born, culture is learned, as long as you are willing to learn, I will teach you." ”

So, Liu Zhidan began to teach Tong Guirong to read, and also gave her a name when she didn't have a name. This move deeply touched Tong Guirong and strengthened her determination to study.

In general, Liu Zhidan and Tong Guirong's marriage is based on mutual understanding and support. Their stories show us that with love, no matter who you are or what your background, you can create a better future.

For the sake of the peace and prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people, Liu Zhidan joined the Chinese Socialist Youth League in 1924 and joined the Communist Party of China the following year, embarking on a revolutionary road.

And his wife, Tong Guirong, as the wife of a revolutionary, also silently took on the burden of the family, raising children and taking care of the family. Their love story is so deep and selfless, it has become a good story in that special historical period.

Liu Zhidan was separated from his family by thousands of mountains and rivers and devoted himself to the revolutionary movement. However, suddenly news came that he had been arrested and killed by the reactionaries. This news was like a bolt from the blue, which made Tong Guirong unacceptable.

However, she still holds out hope that Liu Zhidan was not killed, but that somewhere awaits her. In the autumn of 1928, a beggar in ragged clothes appeared at the door of Tong Guirong's house, and she recognized him as her husband at a glance.

Although Liu Zhidan is suffering from scabies, he is still alive and strong, waiting for the day when he will be reunited with his wife. Tong Guirong and his father-in-law's wish finally came true, and they ushered in a long-lost reunion.

Liu Zhidan told his revolutionary experience in front of his father and wife. After graduating from the Whampoa Military Academy, he served in Feng Yuxiang's army, but after Chiang Kai-shek's counter-revolutionary coup d'état of April 12 in 1927, the revolutionary situation became more and more severe, and he was forced to leave the army.

After losing contact with the organization, he traveled all the way north to organize armed uprisings in Anhui, Hubei and other places to resist the dark rule of the Kuomintang reactionaries, but these uprisings ultimately failed.

After returning to Shaanxi, he led the mighty Weihua Uprising along with other party members, but after three months of hard struggle, the uprising failed, and he had to go into hiding incognito before finally returning home.

Tong Guirong couldn't help but shed tears after hearing about her husband's revolutionary experience, she really couldn't imagine that her husband had suffered so much outside. So, together with Gui Rong and his father-in-law, he persuaded Liu Zhidan to stay at home and stop doing those dangerous things, but Liu Zhidan resolutely shook his head, saying that he would not turn back, and would go to Yulin for a meeting after a while to continue to devote himself to the revolutionary cause.

After listening to her husband's words, Tong Guirong knew that the situation could not be changed, so she did her best to heal her husband's body, and even carried a basket on her back to the mountain to pick herbs, ** the scabies on her husband's body.

After a period of care, Liu Zhidan's scabies was **, and he decided to go to Yulin to continue the revolutionary cause. Before leaving, he held his wife's hand tightly, looked at his reluctant wife and wrinkled old father, and shed sad tears.

However, for the sake of the country's revolutionary cause, he still resolutely embarked on a new journey. After returning to Shaanxi, Liu Zhidan no longer did not return home for several years as he did when he was in Guangdong.

When the reactionary forces of the Kuomintang were strong, he would go home and hide for a while, and occasionally when he passed through his hometown, he would go back to visit his wife and children. However, as the revolutionary situation became increasingly severe, the Kuomintang reactionaries repeatedly searched for and arrested the families of the Red Army in Shaanxi.

During Liu Zhidan's revolution abroad, the Kuomintang reactionaries broke into his home, and in order to survive, Tong Guirong had to hide in the mountains with his young son. Unfortunately, the child died of illness.

In 1934, Tong Guirong and her daughter were searched by Kuomintang reactionaries at home, and she escaped with her daughter after learning the news. After that, Tong Guirong and his daughter followed the Red Army all the way.

When he first started marching, Tong Guirong couldn't ride a horse, and his daughter Liu Lizhen was only four years old, so Tong Guirong tied her daughter to a small donkey and led her around. Later, Tong Guirong learned to ride a horse, so he rode a horse and put his daughter in front of him.

Although Liu Lizhen was young, he followed the Red Army troops to fight everywhere, often tempering in the rain of bullets, so he learned to ride a horse at the age of six. Liu Zhidan knew that after his daughter learned to ride a horse, he happily praised her: "This woman is so powerful, after all, it is my daughter, she is really bold!" ”

In February 1936, for the sake of the safety of the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningbo Revolutionary Base Area, the main force of the Red Front Army decided to launch the Eastern Expedition, and Liu Zhidan served as the commander of the 28th Army.

On April 13, Liu Zhidan led his troops to attack Sanjiao Town, and he went to the front line to observe the enemy's situation in a forward position only a few hundred meters away from the enemy, but unfortunately was hit by a bullet.

*From the Internet When General Liu Zhidan passed away, his wife Tong Guirong was hospitalized with typhoid fever**. In order not to affect his condition, ** and other comrades deliberately concealed this news from him.

It was not until the eve of the public memorial meeting that ** informed Tong Guirong of the news of Liu Zhidan's sacrifice. After learning the sad news of her husband's death, Tong Guirong was in pain. However, due to the severity of her condition, she was unable to attend the memorial service.

But on the day of Liu Zhidan's burial, the soldiers carried her to the cemetery along with the hospital bed and let her hold the coffin and weep bitterly. After that, Tong Guirong wore filial piety for three years, and did not wear floral clothes for decades, in this way to express his sorrow for his husband.

After Liu Zhidan's sacrifice, Tong Guirong began to care about the Red Army soldiers and martyrs' orphans around him, and became everyone's beloved "Mother Liu". She is not only the highly respected "sister-in-law Liu" in the base, but also the spiritual sustenance of countless martyrs' orphans.

Mother Liu: In her short life, Tong Guirong did not experience the battlefield filled with gunpowder, but her dedication and dedication were like the spark of the revolution, illuminating the road to the rear of the revolution.

She took care of the orphans of the martyrs with her heart, made them feel warm and caring, and interpreted the great love of the revolution with her actions. Tong Guirong's life, although ordinary, but incomparably great, her spirit and belief are worthy of our eternal memory and inheritance.
