On the same day, with the completion of the pouring of the last section of the continuous beam, the long-distance river double-line bridge of the Chongqing-Qianjiang section of the Chongqing-Hunan high-speed railway, designed by the Second Institute of China Railway and constructed by the Seventh Bureau of China Railway, was successfully closed. The bridge is located in Wulong District, Chongqing City, with a total length of 34558 meters, one of the control projects of the whole line.

The Chongqing-Qianjiang section of the Chongqing-Hunan high-speed railway is an important part of the Xiamen-Chongqing corridor in the national planning "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed rail network. After the completion of the project, it will realize the one-hour high-speed rail connection between the main urban area of Chongqing and the urban agglomeration of Wuling Mountain Area in southeast Chongqing, and promote economic development along the line.
