The annual CP+ exhibition in Japan was grandly opened on the morning of February 22, 2024. CP+ is held in Yokohama, Japan, and is one of the three major exhibitions in the imaging industry in the world. The brands that come to CP+ have very strong strength and have been deeply involved in the imaging industry for many years. Today, we bring you a report on the Hasselblad booth. In addition to the new 907X&CFV 100C, which has just been released, and the X2D 100C, which is very hot, Hasselblad also showcased many new lenses released last year and this year.
At Hasselblad's booth, there was one product that needed to be seen in a queue, and it was the newly released Hasselblad 907X&cfv 100C, which is a 100-million-pixel medium-format digital back. In addition to continuing to use the unique retro styling design language, the combination has been upgraded to 100 million pixels, while the focusing system and control form are completely the same as the X2D 100C, and the PDAF (Phase Detection) autofocus system has been upgraded, and it supports face recognition detection technology, and it also has a built-in 1TB SSD.
In addition to the hottest Hasselblad 907X&CFV 100C, the X2D 100C and several XCD lenses released last year were also attracting attention at the booth. Although these products have been released for nearly a year, they are still hard to find. Moreover, the price of Hasselblad is a certain distance from that of ordinary users, but the supply is still not able to meet the market demand, which shows that these products are very successful.
Finally, there was an easter egg on the stand, where Hasselblad showcased a limited edition 907X&CFV II 50C camera from Hasselblad's 80th anniversary (2021), which was limited to 800 units at the time. This camera has a special nameplate on the side, so it can be distinguished from the regular version on the market, and at the same time it has a silver lens combination.
