In the eyes of many people, the top ten marshals of the founding of the People's Republic of China, as the most prestigious meritorious figures in our army, are incomparable to others in terms of qualifications and merits. But the one I want to introduce today is really unusual, because his qualifications are so deep that even the top ten marshals are not as good as them. Who is this bull man? Li Liuru.
Li Liuru. It is estimated that everyone will be confused when they see this name, where is this sacred? Why haven't you heard of it? It is true that although Li Liuru's reputation is not loud enough, his military age, party age, and status in our party are quite high. There is no evidence, let's make a comparison, and compare Li Liuru and Mr. Zhu. Zhu Lao was always admitted to the Yunnan Army Lecture Hall in 1909, and later entered the Yunnan New Army until he was promoted to major general in 1917. It stands to reason that such a resume is already very strong, but don't be in a hurry to sigh first, let's take a look at Li Liuru's resume - he joined the New Army in 1908, and by the time of the Xinhai Revolution in 1911, he was already a major general in the army. Moreover, Zhu Lao always joined the Communist Party in November 1922, which is considered an earlier batch of Communist Party members, but even so, he is still more than a year later than Li Liuru! Because as early as shortly after the First National Congress of our party, Li Liuru was introduced by the chairman and joined the Communist Party.
Of course, it is not enough to have a military age and an early party age, and Li Liuru's contribution to the development of our party and our army cannot be ignored. For example, the Autumn Harvest Uprising and the Pingjiang Uprising were both important uprisings led by our party, and Li Liuru was one of the responsible persons of these two uprisings. After the Red Army's Long March, Li Liuru stayed in the base area with **, Xiang Ying and others, mediated with the enemy, and made important contributions to preserving the revolutionary fire in the south. Therefore, it is not an exaggeration to call Li Liuru one of the founders of the development of our party and our army. It is precisely because of this that Li Liuru won the favor and trust of the chairman, and for his sake, he even left the position of secretary general of the office of the Central Military Commission vacant, until he arrived in Yan'an in 1937, and personally appointed him as secretary general. You must know that all the instructions and information discrepancies of the Central Military Commission are through the hands of the secretary general, which shows the high status of Li Liuru in the chairman's heart.
At that time, there were famous "five elders" in Yan'an, namely Xu Teli, Dong Biwu, Lin Boqu, Xie Jueya, and Wu Yuzhang. It was not until 1942 that Li Liuru left Yan'an for various reasons, but after the founding of the People's Republic of China, the chairman personally invited Li Liuru to serve as the deputy procurator general of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, and soon became the supreme procurator general. At first, Li Liuru still muttered in his heart, on the one hand, he had offended many people in Yan'an in his early years, and on the other hand, he was also in his 60s, could he be qualified for this important job? However, the chairman was determined to ask Li Liuru to take up this position, and personally wrote Cao Cao's famous "Tanka Xing" to encourage him. Since everything has been said about this, Li Liuru gritted his teeth and said, okay! I'll listen to the chairman, and I'll do it for a few more years! However, in that position, Li Liuru still offended some people after all, and died unjustly in 1973.
