The Spring Festival is approaching, and the flavor of the year is getting stronger. On February 2, the day of the Lunar New Year, the 2024 "Sea Spring" New Year Cultural Season hosted by the Culture and Tourism Bureau of Haidian District, Beijing kicked off.
In front of the Haidian North Cultural Center, the dragon and lion dance, the car party, the five tiger sticks and other flower activities attracted a large number of residents to stop, and the flower meeting of more than 2,000 people in Xibeiwang Town, Shangzhuang Town, Hot Spring Town and other branch venues to form an echo of the flower festival stampede activities, in a jubilant and festive atmosphere to welcome the arrival of the Spring Festival.
Walking into the Haidian North Cultural Center, the children gathered in the science and technology interactive area and played interactive games such as Feihualing and idiom solitaire to experience the perfect integration of culture and technology. On the stage, the virtual digital human hosted the opening ceremony for the first time, innovating and interpreting traditional Chinese etiquette. The original allegro "The Return of the Horse's Head" highlights the country's strong national strength; Wu Tong, the inheritor of the national intangible cultural heritage, brought the Chinese music performance "Colorful Clouds Chasing the Moon" and the song "Good Spring", allowing the audience to fully experience the unique charm of traditional Chinese culture; Soprano Wang Li's song "China in the Lights" and the male and female chorus "Live Up to the World" sang the red spirit of Haidian people's hard work and enterprising.
At the event site, the blind box prizes of the 12 beasts in the Old Summer Palace ignited the atmosphere of the audience, full of strong "cultural flavor" and "science and technology fan".
Chen Jing, director of the Haidian District Culture and Tourism Bureau, introduced that the 2024 "Spring of the Sea" New Year Cultural Season fully excavates the value of red culture, traditional culture, and innovative culture, highlighting the inheritance of excellent traditional culture, the linkage of culture, tourism, business and sports, and the two-wheel drive of culture and technology. Among them, the 13th Summer Palace Two Plum Exhibition, the 11th Phoenix Ridge New Year Garden Fair, the first New Year Cultural Garden Tour in Zhongta, and the Lantern Festival National ** Meeting are the most worth looking forward to.
