The two classmates became captives, and she married the founding general

At the beginning of 1938, when the Kaifeng Girls' Normal School was preparing to move due to the approach of the Japanese army, Hao Zhiping was a student of the school at that time. She is from Linzhang County, Henan Province, and her father, Hao Jingrui, is a wealthy squire who believes in Jesus, and she is the eldest daughter in the family.

When she was a child, the smart and clever Hao Zhiping performed well in every exam and was admitted to the Kaifeng Women's First Normal School. However, when the Japanese army invaded Kaifeng in 1937, Hao Zhiping discussed with his classmates and decided to give up his studies and go to Yan'an to fight against the Japanese.

They first went to Zhengzhou, and after seeing the enrollment advertisement of Shanxi National Revolutionary University on the street, they immediately signed up. However, when other students discussed going to Shanxi with their families, their parents were adamantly opposed.

Although it was the time of the Chinese New Year, Hao Zhiping still had the belief of resisting Japan, and alone, braved the heavy snow to step on the train to Yuncheng, Shanxi, preparing to enter the Anti-Japanese University to study.

However, when she arrived in Shanxi, she found that the school was not for anti-Japanese resistance, but to defend Yan Xishan. Seeing this, many students fled, including Hao Zhiping and her two female classmates.

What are they going to do?

The three female classmates decided to join the anti-Japanese army and went to Yan'an together. On the banks of the Yellow River, they met several male classmates. However, there were no boats to cross the river, so the two female classmates chose to give up and went to Xi'an instead.

But Hao Zhiping firmly decided to go to Yan'an. She stepped on thin ice and tried to cross the river, but unfortunately fell into the Yellow River. Fortunately, several male classmates rescued her in time.

A few days later, they met an old shipwright who was repairing a ship and asked him for help crossing the Yellow River.

Although the old boatman reminded them that the boat was too old and dangerous to cross the river, the old boatman was finally persuaded under Hao Zhiping's pleading. In February 1938, Hao Zhiping successfully arrived in Yan'an and entered Northern Shaanxi Public School to study.

Soon after, she joined the Red Army, when she was not yet 16 years old. In 1941, Hao Zhiping met the acting president of Kang Da through an introduction and married him.

Ten years after she defected to Yan'an, ** led the 19th Corps to participate in the Taiyuan Campaign and successfully liberated Taiyuan. At this time, Hao Zhiping also came to Shanxi, where she met two classmates who left Yuncheng for Yan'an with her, but gave up halfway.

She learned that after they married *** in Xi'an, they returned to Shanxi.

In the Battle of Taiyuan, their husbands were all engaged in the defense of the city, but one died heroically and the other was captured. In desperation, the two female classmates also became captives.

When they reunited with Hao Zhiping, they felt deep regret and regretted that they could not go to Yan'an with you at the beginning.
