Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, we have vigorously promoted the establishment and improvement of the care and service mechanism and system for rural left-behind groups in rural areas that are family responsible, grassroots-led, socially coordinated, nationally motivated, and supported by guarantees, and have provided strong policy support in the implementation of social security, social assistance, and care for left-behind elderly and children. Beijing Leyu Charity Association actively obeys the call of the elderly and strives to build a bridge to care for the elderly, so that the rural watchmen are no longer lonely.
At the site of the "Happy New Year Respecting the Elderly and Sending Blessings", the staff carefully prepared rich rice, noodles, oil and other condolences to each elderly through a simple and warm ceremony, and communicated with them cordially.
The staff of the Leyu Association said that caring for the elderly is one of the consistent public welfare concepts of the Association, and through such activities, Leyu hopes to send practical care to the elderly in the countryside, so that they can feel the warmth and care of the social family.
The villagers of Sidaogou Village expressed their gratitude for the kindness and persistence of the Leyu Association for five consecutive years. The New Year Respect for the Elderly and Blessing Activities not only brought practical material help to the elderly, but also sent strong love and good wishes to the hearts of the elderly.
