On February 19, Consul General Wang Qimin was invited to visit Jeddah International Medical Center (IMC).
Dr. Waleed Fetahi, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of imc, introduced the establishment background, service purpose, development history and future planning of the hospital to Consul General Wang, and expressed his willingness to further improve the level of diagnosis and treatment and service quality of imc, so as to better provide health protection for patients at home and abroad. Consul General Wang said that IMC is one of the best private general hospitals in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, and has provided high-quality medical services to countless patients so far. The Consulate General is willing to further strengthen the contact with the hospital and jointly promote exchanges and cooperation in the medical and health fields between the two countries.
The two sides also visited the inpatient department, VIP diagnosis and treatment room, convalescent area and other departments.
IMC was established in 2006 with the participation of former Saudi King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz in the planning and unveiling ceremony. At present, the hospital has more than 40 specialized departments in the fields of diagnosis and treatment, and the number of outpatients in a single day exceeds 2,000. The hospital has more than 250 independent wards and is equipped with the most advanced medical equipment, aiming to provide patients with the best conditions. Since 2008, IMC has been awarded the "Highest Quality of Care Assessment in the Region" by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (JCI) for six consecutive years.
