Excessive expectations are a form of self abuse

Have you ever had high expectations of others only to be disappointed?

We often expect too much from others, expecting them to live up to the standards we have in mind. However, this excessive expectation often leads us to feel disappointed, frustrated, and even angry. This is because we tend to ignore the limitations of the reality of the situation, as well as the uniqueness and limitations of each person. When we expect too much from others, we tend to impose our own will on them and ignore their feelings and needs. Not only does this practice make them feel stressed and upset, but it also destroys our relationship with them. Excessive expectations can not only affect our relationships with others, but can also have a negative impact on our mental health. We tend to feel frustrated and lost when we can't meet our expectations. This emotional state not only affects our mood, but also our work and family life.

Don't expect too much from others, but treat them with understanding and tolerance. Only in this way can we build healthier and more harmonious relationships.
