In the cold winter, the reporter of China Youth Daily and China Youth Network walked into the oil mill of Xiaoliu Village, Diaowo Town, Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province, and a warm feeling hit the face, in the roar of the machine, the clear peanut oil slowly flowed out from the end of the machine, and the air was filled with a rich fragrance.

It's all freshly squeezed peanut oil today, and I can have it delivered to my door. Li Sai, a young man born in the 00s, poured peanuts into the automatic oil pressing machine while picking up **.

Li Sai told reporters that during the Spring Festival, there are more relatives and friends, and in rural areas, peanut oil is a more affordable gift. "Every year, the first month of the lunar month is the busiest time. ”

At 6 o'clock in the morning on January 30, Li Sai and his father Li Dehui got up, had a simple breakfast, turned on the machine and began to squeeze oil. "It was busy from morning until about 10pm. Li Sai said that recently, he has been able to sell about 160 barrels of oil every day, 10 catties of oil per barrel, and his daily turnover is more than 10,000 yuan.

In previous years, it was so busy, but it couldn't produce so much oil. Li Sai said that the previous shelling machine, frying machine, oil press, and filter were all separated, the process was backward, and the oil yield was low due to the large workload.

In the summer flood season of 2023, Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province, was hit by catastrophic floods and was once besieged by floods. Due to its low-lying terrain, Diaowo Town is the hardest-hit area. Xiaoliu Village is located in the northeast of Diaowo Town, and the north of the village is the confluence of the three rivers of Beijuma River, Liuli River and Xiaoqing River. Because of the serious flooding in Linhe Village, Li Sai's oil mill was also flooded.

Li Sai told reporters that after the flood receded in August last year, he returned to the oil mill and saw that the silt in the factory was forty or fifty centimeters deep, all seven oil presses had been damaged, and a large amount of finished peanut oil and peanuts had become moldy and spoiled.

The loss is at least 100,000 yuan. He recalled that when he saw the condition of the oil mill, his parents cried.

Li Sai and his father endured the pain and transported the moldy and spoiled peanuts to the field to make fertilizer, and the finished peanut oil soaked in the flood was sent to the unified ** place in the village. "Food that has been soaked in the flood must not reach the market. He said.

At first, Li Sai thought about repairing the oil pressing machine, but later thought that the flooded machine might have viruses or bacteria, so he decided to buy a new equipment.

At the beginning of September, he drove to the oil extraction factory in Huixian County, Henan Province to study and inspect, and bought back a set of fully automatic oil extraction equipment by the way. "Frying, squeezing, and filtering are all integrated, which saves labor and has a higher oil yield. He said that soon after the machines were shipped back to the village, the small oil mill reopened.

Li Sai told a reporter from China Youth Daily and China Youth Network that this oil mill was founded by his parents when he was 7 years old. As a child, he often helped his parents work in the oil mill. "Because the oil mill work was tiring and full of oil, I never thought of taking over my parents' business when I was a child. He said.

After graduating from junior high school, Li Sai first went to an auto repair shop in Zhuozhou City to learn how to repair cars for two years. Xiaoliu Village is close to Zhuozhou Film and Television City, and many people in the village work in the film and television city. Later, under the leadership of his friends in the village, he entered the film and television industry.

We ran with the crew and went to many places in Beijing, Zhejiang, Ningxia, and Shandong. Li Sai said that he is mainly engaged in film and television set and props work, and occasionally acts as an extra.

Li Sai said frankly that although he followed the crew around the country, he broadened his horizons and gained a lot of knowledge. But as I get older, I always have a feeling of wandering and want to stabilize.

In 2019, he returned to his hometown to get married. He noticed that his elderly parents were struggling to work in the oil mill, so he wanted to stay and help them. That year, Li Sai officially took over his parents' oil mill.

At that time, I wanted to make the oil mill bigger and stronger, but due to lack of funds and the support of the team, many ideas could not be realized. He reluctantly said, I always wanted to expand and build my own peanut oil brand.

After the floods, Li Yucheng, secretary of the party branch of Xiaoliu Village, has been thinking about the development direction of the village's post-disaster reconstruction. This post-85 young man believes that if Xiaoliu Village wants to get better and better, it must give full play to its inherent advantages and strengthen the collective economy.

The sandy soil of our village is particularly suitable for growing peanuts, and when we were young, large areas of land were planted with peanuts. But in recent years, he said, more and more people are going to work in big cities, and fewer and fewer young people are farming.

He thought about transferring all the villagers' land to the village's agricultural cooperative, and then realizing the one-stop planting, processing and sales of peanuts.

Li Yucheng found Li Sai, and the two hit it off. Just do it, they found five ** in the village to invest money, and other villagers participated in dividends in the form of land shares.

After the Spring Festival, we will start drying. Li Sai said that he is currently learning how to bring goods through online live broadcasting, and wants to sell products all over the country through the Internet, and at the same time drive the villagers to increase their income and get rich.
