The head of state of Malaysia stepped down and left the palace to return to Pahang

Malaysia** held a farewell ceremony for the 16th head of state, Sultan Abdullah, on Tuesday (30 January).

Before the ceremony, a guard of honour lined up at the Parliament building, with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim leading cabinet members and MPs to attend, and foreign envoys were also invited to attend the ceremony. After the official farewell ceremony, the head of state, Sultan Abdullah and his wife, shook hands with the leaders of the country and said goodbye to the airport.

The convoy of the head of state, Sultan Abdullah, slowly left the parliament building, and more than 3,000 people lined the road to bid farewell, waving the national flag and saying to the head of state and his wife: Thank you! The Führer's car slowly passed by Capitol Road, and the Führer held up his mobile phone to take pictures of the civil servants and people who saw them off, while waving goodbye to the crowd.

According to the master of ceremonies, this is a guard of honor prepared according to the ancient rites of the Pahang royal family, symbolizing the authority of the royal family and ruling over all living things, and the elephants who have been specially trained bow their heads to the ruler as a sign of submission and respect.

Earlier, Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Alauddin Yauddin said at a press conference on Monday (29th) that the inauguration ceremony of the 17th head of state of Johor Sultan Ibrahim will also be held at the National Palace on Wednesday (31st).
