Early in the morning of the second day of the Lunar New Year, the official account "Niu Danqin" published a publication entitled "The first tragic battle of the Year of the Dragon has begun!" article. Regardless of the festive and peaceful atmosphere of the Spring Festival, the author reminds the world: The unimaginable tragic situation happened on the first day of the New Year of our Chinese, and Rafah, a city in southern Gaza, thousands of miles away, is facing a "blood bath"!
For several days in a row, the mainstream of the West, including some Western politicians who firmly support Israel, have also issued warnings to Israel in a stern tone, emphasizing that the "dehumanization" and "disappearance of 1.5 million Palestinians in the Rafah area" are unacceptable!
However, none of these words worked.
Historical experience tells people that Western countries have long been saying one thing and doing another on the Palestinian-Israeli issue, and Israel's military action will only continue with the material support of the West, but will not stop because of the West's verbal criticism.
Therefore, even at this critical moment, when millions of people are lost and even sacrificed their lives, we cannot expect the words and deeds of the West and politicians to play a role in promoting the realization of peace. Unless people can jump out of the inherent discourse trap on the Palestinian-Israeli issue and get rid of the confusion of false statements of fact and erroneous historical narratives of the mainstream of the West, they will never be able to see the truth of the matter, draw objective conclusions, and make the right decision.
As Chinese, I have long fully understood the various tricks of the mainstream Western ** when reporting and commenting on China, as long as we transfer this insight that has been gained to the Palestinian-Israeli issue, we will understand the nature of the matter, and it will not be difficult to understand the true nature of the matter.

The following positions and views on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict do not appear in the official statements of any country** in the world today for various reasons, but they are the result of natural judgment based on basic facts and common sense.
Question 1: Will Israel** abandon its offensive as it has already begun its attack on Rafah, the southernmost port city in the Gaza Strip, where some 1.5 million people are now concentrated, and which will inevitably result in a huge number of civilians** and an unprecedented number of refugees?
Judgment: Won't give up.
Netanyahu called the offensive an "absolute victory" on the horizon, and he will do whatever it takes to achieve it. And the reason why this goal is called "absolute victory" is that it is not actually to eliminate Hamas in the Gaza Strip, nor to rescue the Israeli hostages, but to finally occupy the Gaza Strip completely, and completely drive out the Palestinians from this land, so that it will become the new land of Israel "absolutely".
This objective was certainly set as early as the date of Israel's retaliatory actions four months ago. The attack by Hamas on October 7 provided an excellent pretext for a plan of action to achieve this goal, which Israel could not ask for.
Why does Israel repeatedly emphasize the "terrorist" nature of the 7 October Hamas attack in its propaganda and repeatedly emphasize that Israel's military action is only a response to the "terrorist" attack? Even though the high-intensity military operations and the humanitarian catastrophe caused by them have long since expanded disproportionately and aroused increasingly strong international condemnation, still cling to this reason? Why is it repeatedly emphasized that the goal of military action is the total elimination of Hamas, without which there will be no security and peace? Why not accept the ceasefire package on the Hamas side at all, and why must the ground operation be pushed to the southernmost tip of Gaza? The reason is not complicated, precisely because there is actually this unspeakable real goal behind the military operation.
Question 2: Why does Israel always aim to expand its new territory? Now that Israel has gone from owning only about 7 per cent of Palestinian land to 80 per cent today, far exceeding the 55 per cent stipulated in the 1947 UN agreement, and the number of new settlers has increased from less than 400,000 at the end of World War II to 6.7 million today, and that the expansion of settlements has increased the actual occupied area, making Palestinian statehood increasingly impossible in terms of geographical reality, is it possible that Israel will eventually stop the expansion of the new territory in terms of a certain percentage of land division?
Judgment: Won't stop.
The essence of the establishment of the state of Israel is the colonization of the Western nation on the land of the Arab nation, the continuation of Western colonialism, and the establishment and development of the Western overseas colonies.
The difference is:
Clause. 1. This particular colonial activity was much later in time than the peak of the wave of Western colonialism, because after World War II, non-Western peoples around the world had fully awakened, and their nationalist movements were strong enough to confront Western colonialist movements on an equal footing, so this colonial activity on the land of the Arab nation was not destined to be as smooth as in history;
Clause. Second, the region in which this particular colonization took place and the indigenous peoples targeted were also different from the American continent, Australia and Oceania and their indigenous peoples, although the Arab population of Palestine was small, it was not isolated, and behind it was a large number of Arab countries and the huge Islamic world, which also led to the difficulties of its colonization process.
However, even so, Israel's statehood will still be aimed at maximizing the expansion of colonies and the maximum elimination of indigenous peoples, because as we all know, this nation-building movement is also not isolated, and has the support of many Western countries and the huge ** religious world.
Why has there been war and no hope of peace in this land for more than 100 years? Why can't any solutions and peace agreements be finalized? Why has the "civil and religious rights of the Palestinians", a key issue that has been addressed since the Balfour Declaration of 1917, remained unresolved for more than 100 years? Why does the establishment of the State of Israel necessarily end in the complete denial of the basic rights of the indigenous peoples of the Arab nation on this land? The reason is not complicated, but it is precisely because of the unspeakable nature of the existence of the State of Israel.
Question 3: Historically, major Western countries, including the United States, have repeatedly pressured Israel to promote reconciliation and partition plans. If the international community continues to exert pressure, will Israel accept a "two-state solution" that the world's leading countries have agreed to and even considered the only solution?
Judgment: Won't accept it.
The millions of settlers who have immigrated to Israel for more than 100 years, mainly from the European continent, are not a special people, but a special group of Western peoples. This group took the belief tradition of the Old Testament in ancient history as the main identity symbol, and took the great ** received on the European continent in recent history as the main reason for enjoying the two privileges of not being opposed and independent statehood in the future, so it was able to buck the trend at the end of the Western colonial movement, and promoted the colonization activities of the Western nation on the land of the Arab nation with this group as the main body.
Therefore, these European immigrants, who came to this land mainly in the 20th century, are not fundamentally different from the European immigrants who occupied South America, North America and Australia in the centuries that began in the 16th century.
This also means that today's major Western countries will not seriously stop Israel's violations of international law and its inhumane apartheid and racial crimes, because what Israel is doing in today's world is actually a repetition of what these countries have done in the history of their respective colonies.
In particular, in the United States, in terms of the number of killings and the area of land occupied, Israeli European immigrants are less than a fraction of those compared with European immigrants in North America back then. Therefore, even though the United States criticizes Israel with a thousand words, Israel only needs one sentence to refute the United States: If you scold me, you will scold yourself! If you stop me, you stop yourself!
The US NPR said on February 11, local time: Biden told Natanyahu to ensure the safety of the people before attacking Rafah (screenshot of the report).
Why do the United States and the West stand firmly on Israel's side, no matter what happens? Why does the United States and Western countries always criticize and beat Israel while supporting Israel's occupation in various aspects? The reason is not complicated, precisely because of the unspeakable reality behind the Israeli occupation. Critics of Israel because they do not want their historical crimes to be re-exposed again and again in today's Israeli actions like opening a "time capsule", and they want to cover them up; Full support for Israel is due to the fact that the Israelis are in fact a continuation of the cause of colonialism in their history today, and they want to stay the course.
The above common-sense judgments do not require complex theories, but many complex phenomena have better explanations. The conclusion is that the Western colonialist movement never ended, new forms emerged one after another, and old forms still existed.
Determined by the true goals, true nature and true background of the Israeli statehood movement, Israel's military plan of action against Gaza will not be abandoned, its further military occupation will not stop, its settlements in the West Bank will not be dismantled, and any "two-state solution" with substantive content will not be accepted. This means that the humanitarian catastrophe in this land will continue, and the world will continue to witness one human tragedy after another.
These important words were said in advance before the tragedy happened, and although it could not prevent the tragedy from happening, at least it would give the world a clearer understanding of why the tragedy happened this way.
