Wang Cheng revealed that in 2023, TCL's overall revenue will reach 2973100 million yuan, an increase of 9%. With the support of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government, the operation in Guangdong has reached a new level and achieved a revenue of 1711900 million yuan, an increase of 156%；The total industrial output value in Guangdong is 1524200 million yuan, an increase of 167%。
In recent years, TCL has accelerated its development through industrial transformation and upgrading, mergers and acquisitions, and has transformed into a global technology manufacturing industry group, forming four core industries of intelligent terminals, semiconductor displays, new energy photovoltaics and semiconductor materials, and its main products have achieved the world's leading market position, among them, TCL color TV sales rank second in the world, LCD display market position ranks second in the world, and photovoltaic crystal wafer market share ranks first in the world (integrated circuit silicon wafer is the first in China).
Wang Cheng said in an interview with a reporter from Nandu that the Guangdong Juhua "National Printing and Flexible Display Innovation Center" led by TCL has become an important engine to promote the progress of China's printing and display core technology. In addition to semiconductor displays, the TCL Zhonghuan battery project was also completed in Guangzhou last year, which is the first large-scale photovoltaic manufacturing project introduced locally, which will strongly promote Guangzhou's agglomeration effect in the whole photovoltaic industry chain and related supporting industries.

Standing at the cusp of the integration and development of science and technology and industry, Wang Cheng said frankly that China's manufacturing industry is still facing the problem of being big but not strong, and many enterprises are at the middle and low end of the global value chainIn the future, there is an urgent need to transform to high-end manufacturing
First of all, it is necessary to persist in technological innovation and self-reliance and self-improvement in science and technology. No matter how large the scale of low-end manufacturing is, it can't hold the bull's nose of industrial development. Only by getting rid of the "stuck neck" hand and forging the "trump card" can the enterprise gain the initiative for survival and development.
Second, we will continue to promote manufacturing transformation with advanced technologies such as digitalization and artificial intelligence. If you want to do a good job, you must first sharpen your tools. Improving production efficiency and reducing operating costs is never an end for enterprises.
