Why did the mysterious figure of the Long March disappear? Truth!
On the occasion of July 1st, a martyr's memorial park in Houshan Town, Jinsha County, Bijie City, Guizhou Province ushered in an endless stream of visitors. They gathered here to commemorate an outstanding communist who left a legendary story on the hidden front of the Communist Party of China - Qian Zhuangfei.
At the moment of life and death, Qian Zhuangfei risked his life to pass on information, ensuring the safe transfer of comrades such as Qu Qiubai and Deng Yingchao, and avoiding huge losses for the CCP.
** Zeng said affectionately: "If it weren't for Comrade Qian Zhuangfei, all of us would have died at the hands of the Kuomintang reactionaries." ”
Qian Zhuangfei was born in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province into a wealthy merchant family, and has shown a versatile side since he was a child. He has acted in movies, practiced medicine, is proficient in calligraphy and painting, and knows how to design.
However, his life was not satisfied with this. In 1926, Qian Zhuangfei joined the Communist Party of China and began to devote himself to secret work, fighting for China's revolutionary cause for life.
In 1934, Qian Zhuangfei wrote an article entitled "Quickly Complete Twenty Thousand Pairs of Straw Shoes to the Front" and created a cartoon titled "To Grow Up and Be Strong", which was subsequently published in Red China.
At this time, Qian Zhuangfei was working in the Shanghai business office of the Kuomintang Radio Management Office. His superior, Xu En, took a fancy to him and transferred him to Nanjing, where he was appointed as his confidential secretary.
Since then, Qian Zhuangfei began his ** spy career and became Xu Enzeng's confidant.

However, such a legendary figure mysteriously disappeared during the Long March, and he quietly left us when he crossed the Wujiang River in the south of Guizhou.

For years, experts and scholars have debated the location of his death. Qin Aihua, deputy director of the Party History Research Office of the Guizhou Provincial CPC Committee, said: "Some experts and scholars went to the field to conduct serious investigation and verification, and gradually formed two views: one is the 'Xifeng theory' that sacrificed his life on the south bank of the Wujiang River, and the other is the 'Jinsha theory' who sacrificed his life on the north bank of the Wujiang River."
Most comrades of the Second Bureau of the Central Revolutionary Military Commission recalled that Qian Zhuangfei, who was ill, did not cross the Wujiang River at that time. On April 1, 1935, after the Red Army's troops successfully crossed the Wujiang River in the south, a tall Red Army with a long face and a provincial accent did not cross the river because he was left behind, and was killed by the local recalcitrant Nie Congshan when he arrived at Yantian Rock near the Tiziyan Ferry in Jinsha County, and was only 40 years old when he died.
After interviewing insiders and investigating historical records, we confirmed that martyr Qian Zhuangfei, deputy director of the Second Bureau of the Central Revolutionary Military Commission and deputy secretary general of the General Political Department of the Red Army, died in Houshan Township, Jinsha County, Guizhou Province, on April 1, 1935.
This conclusion has been recognized by the relevant state departments, and the mystery of Qian Zhuangfei's disappearance has also been revealed.
After the local people found the body of the martyr Qian Zhuangfei, they risked their lives to bury him on the spot. Every year during the Qingming Festival, people will come to this nameless Red Army grave to pay respects and offer flowers and new soil.
In the 70s of the 20th century, due to the construction of the hydropower station reservoir area, the remains of the martyrs were relocated to Zhangjiayakou, and the tombstone of the "Tomb of the Red Army Martyrs" was erected. In 1991, the local cadres and masses spontaneously rebuilt the martyr's tomb, worked hard and actively raised funds.
The tomb of the martyr Qian Zhuangfei is located in Guizhou Province, and the state and relevant departments have confirmed that the owner of the tomb is the martyr Qian Zhuangfei of the Red Army. Today, the tomb of Qian Zhuangfei martyrs and the deeds exhibition room are officially named "** education base", and 100,000 tourists come to visit and study every year to remember this great revolutionary martyr.
On the hidden front, countless loyal guards like martyr Qian Zhuangfei have made great contributions to the Chinese revolution, and they are hidden and great heroes. Although their contributions are difficult to publicize and their failures cannot be explained, they have uncomplainingly stuck to their beliefs and contributed silently.
They are true victors and deserve to be remembered and respected forever. (Xinhua News Agency, WeChat; Reporter: Li Jingya, Liu Zhiqiang; Producer: Zhang Yue; Editors: Zhou Zhe, Wu Yue, Ma Xiaoju; Internship: Zhao Bowen, Ruan Siyu).
