Encyclopedic knowledge: You must know the operating principle of domestic waste incinerator

Mondo Education Updated on 2024-02-06

The operating principle of the domestic waste incinerator is to use high-temperature combustion technology to burn domestic waste in the furnace, and through a series of physical and chemical reactions, the waste is converted into waste gas and solid residue. The process is as follows:

1.After the garbage enters the factory, it is weighed by the weighbridge and unloaded into the garbage bin. The garbage in the garbage bin is fully mixed and homogenized by the grab, and then sent to the garbage hopper.

2.The waste falls down the trough to the feeder platform, which pushes the waste onto the grate. The grate pushes the garbage forward and causes it to fall into the combustion chamber.

3.In the process of sliding and turning on the grate, the garbage is dried by the high temperature of the lower part of the grate and the radiant heat in the furnace, and then ignited.

4.The temperature of the garbage in the combustion chamber can reach 850 -1100, and the combustible substances in the garbage react with oxygen to release energy.

5.The flue gas produced by combustion passes through the secondary combustion chamber to ensure that the garbage is completely burned. The residence time of the flue gas in the secondary combustion chamber should be greater than 2 seconds to ensure the decomposition of harmful substances.

6.After the flue gas passes through the secondary combustion chamber, it enters the waste heat boiler, and the heat in the flue gas is used to heat the water in the boiler to generate steam.

7.The flue gas is treated by purification systems such as bag filters and spray towers to remove impurities such as dust and harmful gases in the flue gas.

8.The purified flue gas is discharged into the atmosphere through the chimney. Detection instruments are installed in the chimney to monitor the content of harmful substances in the flue gas in real time to ensure that the emission standards are met.

9.The slag produced by incineration is automatically discharged and can be disposed of for burial as general waste. The fly ash disposed of by the bag filter is hazardous waste and should be disposed of safely.

The operation process of domestic waste incinerator needs to be monitored and controlled by an automatic control system, and parameters such as furnace temperature and flue gas emission are automatically adjusted and monitored to ensure the normal operation and safety of the equipment.
