Compared with traditional lead-acid batteries, lithium iron phosphate batteries do not contain any heavy metals and rare metals, and are easy to use, reducing the difficulty and cost of waste disposal. In addition, the cycle life of lithium iron phosphate batteries can reach more than 2000 times, or even more than 3500 times, far exceeding the life of lead-acid batteries. Its capacity attenuation rate is low, the safety is high, it does not contain toxic substances, and it is equipped with multiple protections, which greatly reduces the potential safety hazards.

Although lithium iron phosphate batteries have poor endurance at low temperatures, they can still provide reliable performance throughout their service life. To sum up, BYD's lithium iron phosphate battery has shown incomparable advantages and made a significant contribution to environmental protection. It is hoped that more companies will follow BYD's example and contribute to creating a better future.
