Elektrobit's industry-leading AUTOSAR and Linux software now supports the NXP S32G3 series processors.
This powerful combination of hardware and software significantly reduces development time and costs, accelerating the time to market for next-generation vehicles.
An important OEM production vehicle project to integrate Elektrobit software with the NXP S32G3 is already underway.
Erlangen, Germany, August 2, 2023 – Elektrobit announced that its industry-leading software product line can be used to develop automotive electronic control units (ECUs) based on the latest AUTOSAR standards, and that its Linux solutions also support NXP[GF]AE[GF] Semiconductors' new S32G3 in-vehicle network processors. The S32G3 series processors more than double the processing, memory, and networking performance while maintaining the same package pin and software compatibility as the highly successful S32G2 series processors. As automakers move to integrated domain and partition architectures for software-defined vehicles, the powerful combination of NXP S32G3 hardware and Elektrobit's EB Tresos[GF]2002[GF] and EB Corbos[GF]2002[GF] software can significantly reduce the time and cost required to develop these complex architectures and accelerate time to market for production vehicles.
We are excited to continue our long-standing collaboration with Elektrobit to support our S32G3 secure, reliable, high-performance in-vehicle network processors," said Brian Carlson, Global Marketing Director, NXP Vehicle Control and Networking Solutions. The combination of GF] software provides automakers with a powerful solution to help them develop advanced features and services for next-generation architectures' in-vehicle computers and security processors in an efficient manner. ”
The NXP S32G3 in-vehicle network processor is designed for in-vehicle** computing applications in region-based software-defined vehicles. At the same time, they provide high-performance ASIL D-safe processing for AD ADAS applications with the same scalability and pinouts as previous generation processors.
The new NXP S32G3 is ideal for next-generation architectures. We are excited to extend its capabilities with our range of AUTOSAR-compliant software as well as the new [GF]2002[ GF]EB Corbos Linux based on Ubuntu solutions," said Michael Robertson, Chief Product Officer at Elektrobit. ”
Here's what the Elektrobit software module supports for the new NXP S32G3:
