In terms of appearance, Dongfeng E 008 adopts a different design style from E 007, the closed front face is embellished with through-type light strips, with triangular deflectors on both sides, and a blackened grille below, and the front lip is slightly upturned, making the entire front look fuller. The body size, the length, width and height of the Dongfeng E 008 are 5002 1972 1732mm, and the wheelbase is 3025mm, positioning it as a medium and large SUV. Compared with the length, width and height of the ideal L8 5080 1995 1800mm, it seems that the advantages of Dongfeng E 008 cannot be seen, but compared with the 3005mm wheelbase of the ideal L8, Dongfeng E 008 is 20mm more, which also means that Dongfeng E 008 has a good ride space and storage space.
In terms of interior, Dongfeng E 008 adopts a large six-seat design, other information has not yet been announced, please refer to Dongfeng E 007. In terms of power, it should be based on the Dongfeng quantum architecture like the Dongfeng E 007 and equipped with the Dongfeng Mach E power system. At present, the declaration information of the pure electric version has been announced, and the Dongfeng E 008 will be equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery with a maximum power of 200kW and a maximum speed of 180km h. The debut of Dongfeng E 008 further expands the camp of Dongfeng Yipai.
