In recent years, with the gradual drop in temperature, the problem of drowning prevention in winter has become increasingly prominent. In winter, the weather is cold, the temperature is low, the river ditch is frozen, some people have a weak sense of self-prevention, like to play on the ice, and the seemingly solid ice surface is actually dangerous, which can easily cause drowning incidents. It is urgent to pay attention to the prevention of drowning in winter.
In order to improve the safety awareness of community residents and enhance their self-safety protection ability to prevent the occurrence of winter drowning incidents, the practice team of the School of Computer Science of Qufu Normal University carried out a drowning prevention knowledge publicity activity in Kuiwen District, Weifang City, Shandong Province on February 5, 2024.
In order to ensure the smooth progress of the practice of this community drowning prevention knowledge publicity activity, the practice team carried out sufficient preliminary preparations before the winter vacation. By consulting relevant materials and collecting questionnaires, the team members understood the needs and concerns of community residents for drowning prevention knowledge, which laid the foundation for the development of practical activities.
During the practical activities, the practice team adopted various forms to publicize the knowledge of drowning prevention. First of all, the team members set up a drowning prevention knowledge publicity board in the community, and put up posters and leaflets to let residents understand the basic knowledge and precautions of drowning prevention in winter. At the same time, the team members deepened the residents' understanding and impression of drowning prevention knowledge by organizing interactive activities such as interesting knowledge competitions and on-site demonstrations.
The practical activities were a complete success. Through this activity, the members of the practice team not only improved their practical ability, but also enhanced the safety awareness of community residents, and contributed to the prevention of winter drowning incidents. In the future, the practice team will continue to carry out such activities and contribute to the safety of the community.
