A grass, a flower, a piece of cloth, knocked together, becomes a work of primary shape. This is the intangible cultural heritage skill of China's traditional plant dyeing - plant rubbing. At the beginning of spring, the Jiujiang Jiangkou County Museum invited more than 20 primary school students to learn plant rubbing, feel the beauty of intangible cultural heritage, and have a beautiful encounter with the early spring when all things are recovering.

During the activity, the museum staff led the primary school students to a plant specimen exhibition with the theme of "Grass and Tree Spirits", and led everyone to pick up leaves, flowers, stems and other rubbing materials outdoors. Afterwards, under the guidance of the staff, the elementary school students soaked the leaves, flowers and stems they had picked up with alum, wiped the soaked plants with paper towels, and then pasted the plants on a white cloth with tape and then beat them with hammers. After about half an hour of hard work, the paintings made with leaves, flowers, stems, etc. were made.

Through hands-on practice, we not only "extended" the spring color of nature into exquisite paintings, but also experienced the charm of the traditional rubbing and dyeing skills and culture of the Chinese nation, and deepened our understanding of traditional culture.
