Every year after the Spring Festival holiday, March to April is the traditional off-season of China's civil aviation market. Recently, many passengers have found that there are many ** air tickets as low as one or two hundred yuan or even 0 yuan in the market. How can I buy it?
First of all, the "0 yuan ticket" really exists.
Searching on social **, you can see screenshots of the "0 yuan air ticket" order posted by many netizens. That "0 yuan ticket" from **? In fact, some airlines, especially low-cost airlines, will release a small amount of "0 yuan air tickets" when they engage in ** activities. For example, on February 18, AirAsia said on its *** that from the early morning of February 19 to 12 pm on February 25, AirAsia launched a "0 yuan promotion", and a total of 3 routes departing from China released 0 yuan seats (only the fare does not include tax). In addition, the relevant ** or ** travel platforms may also subsidize on the basis of the airline's ticket, so that the "0 yuan ticket" can appear.
But in fact, the "0 yuan ticket" does not really allow passengers to buy it without spending a penny. "0 yuan air ticket" only refers to the purchase of 0 yuan for air tickets, including airport construction fees, fuel surcharges, and entry and exit taxes when going abroad, which also cost hundreds of yuan. For example, the "0 yuan air ticket" order shared by a netizen on social platforms shows that the two "0 yuan air tickets" he purchased from Chengdu to Bangkok, plus the above fees, actually cost a total of 636 yuan.
In addition, it is not so easy for passengers to buy a "0 yuan ticket", or there are many restrictions when using it. For example, the above-mentioned "0 yuan ticket" campaign released by AirAsia has fewer routes and requires passengers to register as a member before they can buy it. The "0 yuan air ticket" launched by a ** travel platform requires consumers to buy a "66** air ticket card" for 66 yuan first. For the card, some netizens complained that there are not many cities where the card can choose flights, and the departure time is often inappropriate, either on weekdays or in the early morning.
Industry insiders remind that low-cost and even "0 yuan air tickets" and other ** tickets often have harsh travel conditions, such as paying to join the membership, paying extra to check in luggage or having very little free baggage, buying additional meals, and not being able to refund or change. Consumers must avoid impulsive consumption when purchasing, and read the full terms clearly based on their own circumstances.
Chen Yinjiang, deputy secretary-general of the Consumer Rights Protection Research Association of the China Law Society, said that airlines should provide consumers with benefits in the form of low prices, and should also pay attention to the obligation to fully inform consumers while placing advertisements. At the same time, Chen Yinjiang also suggested that consumers should be vigilant when choosing "0 yuan tickets" and avoid buying goods or services with false advertising or fraud.
