On February 4, a guy experienced an unusually frozen fantasy journey on the Hubei Expressway. He returned to his hometown in Chongqing from Hangzhou for the Chinese New Year, but he was trapped on the highway in Hubei for 44 hours and traveled 180 kilometers. Faced with long waits and challenges, he even had to climb over railings to buy bread in a nearby village in order to satisfy his hunger.
At 4 p.m., Mr. Luo's vehicle was still on the Hubei Expressway, and he told reporters that he had been stuck in traffic for 44 hours on this section of the highway in Hubei, and that the previous meal of noodles had been in the service area at 6 p.m. on the 3rd, and he had not eaten for 20 hours. He described the situation along the way, I don't know how many snowmen were built along the way, they were all snowmen more than one person high, and in order to prevent the car from freezing on the road, he had to move in the car and restart the car every once in a while to keep warm.
Mr. Luo said he didn't dare to stay in the car with the air conditioner on all the time because he was worried about fuel consumption, and the unusually cold weather in Hubei made it extremely difficult for the vehicle to drive on the snow. In order to cope with the road conditions, he even had to get out of the car and push the cart on some sections of the road, which made his journey extremely tortuous.
From February 3 to 4, the Hubei Expressway Traffic Police issued road closure information several times, and the continuous deterioration of road conditions also put Mr. Luo in a helpless predicament. He said that some sections of the road were slippery and required a cart to drive for a while, and the whole process was extremely difficult.
In order to quench his thirst and fill his stomach, Mr. Luo resolutely climbed over the railing and entered the nearby village from the hillside and fields at around 4 p.m. on February 4. He bought a few bags of bread to barely satisfy his hunger. He was very emotional about this extremely difficult journey.
