The chassis of the V12 Speedster features Aston Martin's advanced bonded aluminium construction, which blends elements of the DBS Superleggera and Vantage models to form a unique platform. The lines of the body are smooth and dynamic, and the large grille on the front face, the air vents of the wheel arches, and the integrated spoiler composed of tail lights all highlight its domineering aura.
The vehicle was equipped with a 5The 2-liter V12 engine, which reaches a maximum power of 700 hp and a maximum torque of 753 Nm, accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in just 35 seconds for a top speed of 300 km/h.
The Aston Martin V12 Speedster, presented here, is the 68th in a limited series of 88 cars and is said to be the only one to feature the exclusive Heritage Aston Racing Green livery. The livery commemorates the classic colours of the 1959 Aston Martin DBR1, one of Aston Martin's most successful cars, having won the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The V12 Speedster opted for the DBR1 configuration when it was new to the car, which means it has some upgrades similar to those of the DBR1 race car, such as the Clubsport White round logo, a silver-plated front grille, 21-inch diamond-cut wheels, and a braking system equipped with carbon-ceramic brake discs.
Inside, the open cabin features an upholstery in Conker Saddle leather and Viridian Green technical textiles, with aluminium switchgear and plenty of carbon fibre trim. Two custom-made Aston Martin helmets are also placed in the glass pillars at the rear of the cockpit.
In addition, the car boasts a tailor-made stainless steel exhaust system, as well as a suspension system with double wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear suspension with springs and adaptive shock absorbers that can be switched between Sport, Sport+ and Track modes.
The Aston Martin V12 Speedster is a rare and refined open performance car that combines exceptional performance and the sound of the V12 with an unrivalled driving charm that blends Aston Martin's racing heritage with aeronautical aesthetics.
