Recently, the self-built carrier Da Zero Bay International Intelligent Medical Innovation Center project of South Binjiang Company ushered in a major foundation node 5 days ahead of schedule, marking that the project has officially entered the "fast lane" of main structure construction.
Project Overview. The Da Zero Bay International Intelligent Medical Innovation Center project is located in Wujing Town, Minhang District, Shanghai, with the green belt of Lianhua South Road to the east, plot 03a-07a to the south, plot 03a-08a to the west, and plot 03a-05a to the north. The project is responsible for the construction and development of Shanghai South Binjiang Intelligent Medical Technology Development Co., Ltd., and China Construction Technology Group East China Co., Ltd. is responsible for the construction and development, and the main construction content is 1-4 commercial office complex buildings and supporting underground parking garages, outdoor projects, etc., with a total construction area of about 920,000 square meters.
After the completion of the project, it will form a science and technology demonstration park integrating R&D, design, display, office, testing and production, which is an important part of Shanghai's construction of a science and technology innovation center with global influence.

The project team made every effort to tackle the large-volume concrete pouring of the basement floor, with a thickness of 70-120 cm and a cushion cap depth of 12 meters — 45 meters, 35 days to complete nearly 20,000 cubic meters of concrete pouring work.
In the face of the complex surrounding environment of the project, which is only separated by a wall from Zizhu Emerging Industry Technology Research Institute, close to the main road of Lianhua South Road, and the road is narrow and unable to form a traffic loop, the project team organized the construction in strict accordance with the expert plan, and carried out cloud control through the establishment of a fine BIM model, which greatly improved the construction efficiency, effectively solved the problem of earthwork excavation and removal in the early stage of construction, and resolved the risk of foundation pit deformation.

Since entering the main construction of the basement, a total of 2 concrete support beams and trestle bridges have been completed, 180,000 cubic meters have been unearthed, and more than 3,500 tons of binding steel bars have been completed.
