The "boss" checked the accounts and carelessly defrauded the cashier of 1.27 million

On December 19, Xiao Jin (pseudonym), a front desk employee of a company in Chengdu, received ** from the company's "Mr. Wang" (pseudonym) through the company's landline when he was on duty. , "Mr. Wang" said that an advance payment of 350,000 yuan would be credited to the company's account, and asked Xiaojin to add his QQ number so that he could send the transfer record for verification.

Xiao Jin, who hung up **, was a little puzzled, because the voice of "Mr. Wang" was a little different from usual, but after hesitating, Xiao Jin still added the QQ of "Mr. Wang". Immediately, Xiaojin received another ** from "Mr. Li of the company", and the other party said that he had communicated with "Mr. Wang" and would make an advance payment to the company later.

Mr. Wang "asked Xiaojin to check the "advance payment" on QQ

After receiving the "**Company President Li"**, Xiao Jin, seeing that the "advance payment" amount said by the two "CEOs" was the same, he didn't think much about it, and then entered a QQ group chat according to the instructions of "Mr. Wang" on QQ. In the group, "Mr. Wang" sent a screenshot of the transfer record of "Mr. Li of ** company", and asked Xiao Jin to go out of the cashier** to make the next arrangement.

Mr. Wang "sent" advance payment transfer slip "and asked Xiao Jin to pull out the cashier**.

When Xiao Jin saw that "there is a picture and the truth", he immediately pulled the cashier Xiaojuan (pseudonym) into the **. And Xiaojuan saw that it was her colleague Xiao Jin who pulled her, so she had no doubt about the identity of "Mr. Wang", and immediately checked whether the advance payment was in place according to the requirements of "Mr. Wang".

After Xiaojuan audited the accounts, she truthfully reported the results to "Mr. Wang".

After inquiry, Xiaojuan found that the advance payment of 350,000 yuan did not arrive in the company's account. "Mr. Wang" didn't care, but suddenly asked her to verify how much money the company still has in her account, and asked Xiaojuan to spend 98 immediately60,000 yuan to an account designated by him.

Mr. Wang "asked Xiaojuan to check the accounts and spend expenses.

After receiving the transfer instructions from "Mr. Wang", the cashier Xiaojuan did not call ** to verify, but according to the requirements of "Mr. Wang", 9860,000 yuan was called. Subsequently, "Mr. Wang" asked for another transfer of 2840,000 yuan to the account, after Xiaojuan did so, when "Mr. Wang" asked for another 200,000 yuan, Xiaojuan found that there was no money in the company's account and could not be transferred.

* Dismiss a group chat.

In the end, Xiaojuan transferred a total of more than 1.27 million yuan to the designated account of "Mr. Wang", and when she felt wrong, the group was also disbanded, and then she found out that she had been deceived.

Get on the bus first and pay later? The cashier was deceived of 1.48 million in 2 hours

On December 21, Xiao Liu (pseudonym), an accountant of a company in Leshan City, suddenly received an application from the company's "Mr. Li" (pseudonym) to add QQ friends. Xiao Liu, who thought that "Mr. Li" had a work arrangement, didn't think much about it, so he immediately approved the application.

Mr. Li "added financial Xiao Liu as a friend.

Subsequently, "Mr. Li" told Xiao Liu on QQ that he was cooperating with another company recently, and he would set up a group chat to arrange cooperation, so that Xiao Liu would also pull the company's cashier to facilitate follow-up work arrangements.

Mr. Li "asked to pull the cashier into the group."

At this time, Xiao Liu did not doubt the identity of "Mr. Li" at all, so he immediately pulled the company's cashier, Sister Zeng (pseudonym), into the group.

Mr. Li "asked to check the money that was about to be in.

After cashiering Sister Zeng**, "Mr. Li" informed Sister Zeng that there was about to be a sum of money to be credited to the company and asked her to check the accounts. This step, for example, is the same as the previous case, everything is a means of using fake transfer records to deceive financial trust and grasp the information of available funds in the company's account in order to carry out the next step of fraud.

In the face of the work arrangement of "Mr. Li", Sister Zeng did not slack off, and after checking the accounts, she sent the balance of available funds on the company's account to "Mr. Li". Subsequently, "Mr. Li" informed Sister Zeng that the company now had a payment to pay, and sent the other party's account information, asking for immediate processing.

Mr. Li "asked for a transfer.

Sister Zeng told "Mr. Li" that according to the company's financial system, the transfer of funds requires the signature of the vice president in charge of finance before it can be transferred out, and the online banking is now in the hands of another financial Xiaomei (pseudonym), and Xiaomei will not pay outside without the signature of the vice president.

Mr. Li "asked for the transfer of money first and then the completion of the procedures."

Subsequently, "Mr. Li" asked Sister Zeng to talk about Xiao Meila**. At the same time, "Mr. Li" also pulled the company's "vice president" in charge of finance into the group chat. The "vice president" informed Xiaomei that everything should be handled in accordance with the requirements of "Mr. Li", and the money should be paid first, and then the signing procedures would be supplemented.

The cashier is fooled and ready to transfer money.

After Xiaomei**, seeing that the two "CEOs" of the company had spoken, they transferred 1.48 million to the account sent by the other party, and then, "Mr. Li" asked him to call another 350,000 to another account.

Analysis of fraud methods

The above two cases of telecommunications network fraud are typical cases of impersonating leaders to defraud financial personnel. Although the entry point of its initial stage is different, the words and means are not separated from their origins, and their basic techniques and routines are:

**Infiltrate the company's work group to get the company's people, organizational structure and business workflow. Then pretend to be the "CEO" to add employees and accountants, and then pull the cashier into the fraud group through the employee or accountant, so as to relax the vigilance of the cashier.

**Falsely claiming that money is about to be credited to the company, and confusing financial personnel through false transfer records, so as to obtain information about the company's available funds.

**Require the cashier to transfer money to the designated account on the grounds that the company has other business. During the period, ** took advantage of the employee's natural awe of the "boss" to keep urging the cashier to transfer money, and the cashier lost the correct judgment under the constant urging of the "boss", resulting in being deceived.

Be sure to verify the transfer so as not to be sad afterwards

Why do impersonating "boss" scams succeed repeatedly? Looking back at the process of being deceived, we can see that in this kind of **, ** accurately grasp the psychological weaknesses of the company's employees and accountants as subordinates, and after deceiving trust, let them pull the cashier to chat, confuse the victim's audio-visual, make it difficult to distinguish the authenticity, and thus be deceived. Therefore, in the face of sudden transfer requirements, the cashiers of various units and companies must always be vigilant and never transfer money easily. Once deceived, not only will the property of the unit or company be lost, but you may also be criminally prosecuted for constituting the crime of dereliction of duty and ruin your future.

"Panda anti-fraud" warm reminder

At present, the fraud against financial personnel is escalating, and the financial personnel of all enterprises and units should strictly abide by the financial system of the unit, strictly implement the report to the relevant responsible personnel before transferring and remitting, and report in person, and never transfer money without verification and confirmation. Never join virtual social groups such as QQ and WeChat that have not been verified in the name of work.

If the "leader" suddenly adds you friends, be sure to verify it through other channels. At the same time, financial personnel must adhere to the company's financial system, adhere to the principles, and do not easily transfer out the money without face-to-face signature and confirmation, so as not to be deceived.

If you receive an unfamiliar email with a link, do not click on it easily to avoid the computer being implanted with a Trojan virus, which will cause all kinds of account information to be stolen. When using the corporate account to transfer money, the two-person dual-key system is strictly observed, and the transfer and remittance must not be completed by one person.
