Trainee reporter Guan Yue
Recently, Mr. Li and other owners reported that in order to charge electric vehicles, many owners in the community have connected wires from their upper floors to downstairs, which has potential safety hazards. In the past few days, a reporter from Qilu Evening News has visited and found that similar situations are quite common, and "living in the 'air flying line'" has become a stubborn disease in many old communities in Jinan, which not only affects the image of the community, but also has fire safety hazards.
"Flying wire charging" continues
The residents of the community have been troubled for a long time
On February 4, the reporter came to the Fuxiang Street Community in Shizhong District, Jinan City, as reflected by Mr. Li, and as soon as he walked into the community, many electric vehicles were parked in front of various buildings and connected in a row. Looking up, almost every building on the exterior wall, at the door of the unit, on the first floor of the residents' balcony protective net, etc., are hung from the upper floor "through the wall" charging cables, the highest from the fifth floor, more than ten meters long. During the day, residents go out to work, and some of these "resting" charging cables are hung in front of the windows on the first floor, and some hang directly to the ground, and some residents put on "raincoats" for the plug row in order to prevent water from entering the charging port.
There are too few places in the community to charge electric vehicles, and hundreds of electric vehicles in the community are simply not enough. When it comes to the reason for flying wire charging, Mr. Wang, a resident of the community, is also very helpless. "We also know that it is very dangerous, but there is no way, the charging pile is not lined up but we have to use the car the next day, especially at night The corridor is full of charging electric vehicles in and out is also very inconvenient. ”
In the Fuxiang Street community, there are only two charging piles, with a total of about 50 charging ports, which is far from meeting the charging needs of hundreds of electric vehicles in the community. However, some residents said that because the electricity bill at home is cheaper, some people still take the risk of "flying wire" charging after installing the charging pile.
When some electric vehicles are charging, I don't know if the charger is aging, there is always a very loud current sound, and sometimes you can see sparks. In Jiaojiayushou Community, not far from the Fuxiang Street Community, residents have also been troubled by "flying wire charging" for a long time. The situation is different from Fuxiang Street, Jiaojiayushou community has not yet installed charging piles, residents with storage rooms choose to pull wires in the house to charge, looking at the "charging network" entrenched at the staircase and the electric vehicles, residents of the community are worried that once the charger explodes, the vehicles and flowers and trees parked next to it are flammable, and the consequences are unimaginable.
The other day I smelled a mushy smell and opened the door to see that the lines behind me were burning. Following the gesture of Ms. Meng, a resident of the community, the reporter saw that there were many wires and electric vehicle charging cables wrapped around the water pipes behind the unit door, which were intertwined with each other, and the black fire marks on the wall also sounded a warning bell for residents.
The cut is still messy
Flying lines are cluttered and hanging in front of the building
The situation of "flying wire charging" of electric vehicles is not a "new thing" in Jinan. During the visit, the reporter found that outside the buildings of Qipan Street Community, Tianqiao District, Qingheyuan Community, Huaiyin District, Furong Garden Community, Lixia District, Jinan City, the long charging cable is particularly conspicuous, and some residents did not unplug it in time after being fully charged, although in the sub-zero weather, the charger is still hot.
In recent years, the number of electric vehicles in China has been increasing, and fire departments in many places have reported fire accidents caused by electric vehicle charging. Some lithium battery manufacturers do not have strict quality control, which affects the safety of battery use. Especially when "flying wire charging", the wiring board is often exposed to the sun and rain outdoors, which is easy to cause the aging of the insulation material, produce leakage short circuit, and increase the risk. Moreover, charging in buildings, passages, and yards, such as electric vehicles, is easy to ignite the surrounding combustibles, expand the fire, and in serious cases, it will hinder escape, and the potential safety hazards are huge.
In addition to "flying wire charging", there are all kinds of cables outside the building like spider webs, "flying down" in the air, and even hanging low. Most of these communities are old communities, and there are congenital deficiencies in public areas and related supporting facilities, all kinds of pipelines are intricate, and most of the cables and gas pipelines are laid on open lines. There are also many residents who privately connect wires, network cables and other cables, which are intersected with each other. Although some have been simply bundled, some cables have been damaged, after a long time of wind and rain, once the short circuit and leakage will directly cause fire danger, the flying wire directly becomes the "fuse".
It's not easy to solve the problem
Relevant departments: advancing
What should I do about the charging problem in the old community? How to solve the "spider web in the air"? In this regard, the reporter contacted the Jinan Municipal Housing and Construction Bureau, the Jinan Tianqiao District Industry and Information Technology Bureau, and the Puli Street Community Neighborhood Committee of Shizhong District, Jinan City.
To build a charging pile, you need to solicit the opinions of all owners, and contact the relevant charging pile manufacturers after the installation and how to install it, and the owners of the unit building need to agree to it. The staff of the Property Management Office of the Jinan Municipal Housing and Construction Bureau explained that the installation of charging piles needs to be voted on by all owners, and the funds such as property maintenance are used to install electric vehicle charging piles. However, some old communities do not have property management and related fees for the installation of charging piles, and some communities have previously had plans to install charging piles, but they have been opposed by some residents and stranded.
During the visit, the reporter learned that the members of each community grid are regularly inspecting the situation of "flying wire charging" in the community, and promptly advise and stop it after discovering it. However, due to space limitations, the number of charging piles, charging costs and other reasons, it is not easy to completely solve the "flying wire charging" in the old community.
In many communities, due to the narrow distance between buildings and the parking of motor vehicles, most of the public areas are occupied, and there are almost no new public areas for centralized parking and charging of electric vehicles.
However, it is not impossible to do so. There are many smart battery swapping cabinets that look like supermarket lockers in the street corners and communities near popular business districts in many cities, allowing electric vehicles to change from charging to battery swapping mode and solving the charging problem of electric vehicles. Residents only need to scan the code with their mobile phones*** A cabinet door will be opened immediately, put the used battery into the cabinet, connect the charger and close the cabinet door, another cabinet door will be opened, take out a fully charged battery and put it into the electric car, the whole process takes less than half a minute. At present, in Jinan Luneng Lingxiu City, Shanshi East Road, Qipanjie Community and other places have been "new" smart battery swap cabinets, from time to time couriers and takeaway riders come to "swap batteries". In the future, perhaps the "replacement charging" mode will become one of the ways to solve the hidden dangers of charging safety.
Project transformation takes a cycle, and we are progressing gradually. The staff of the Tianqiao District Industry and Information Technology Bureau said that the transformation of weak current lines is currently in the process of gradually advancing, and the transformation of cables is gradually arranged according to the progress of the demolition and renovation projects of the old community. Every year, the sub-district office will report to the community according to the situation, and the district will plan and arrange it as a whole, and then implement it specifically.
I hope that the situation of 'flying wire charging' and cable entering the ground can be solved as soon as possible, so that it can be safer above our heads." For the residents of Fuxiang Street Community, living a day of "stop-and-charge, wireless beauty" as soon as possible has become an important part of their New Year's resolution.
