The Baihetan Hydropower Station flooded the reservoir area of Dachong

When I returned to my hometown during the Spring Festival, I looked at the newly built market town, and after the New Year, there were many family cars with foreign license plates, and the young people who went out to work came back, and there were many sons-in-law from other places. The contrast between the coldness and desertion of weekdays and the sight of the elderly is stark. The market town we moved to is Dachongji Town, the largest market town on the Jinsha River in Sichuan Province of Baihetan Hydropower Station, but there are very few people on weekdays, there is no corresponding industrial park in the local area, and most young people can only go out to work. Traffic is also not very convenient due to the settlement of the road surface. Personally, I feel that if after the opening of navigation, from Jingdong Bridge Grad Town down the reservoir area, dock at the wharf in turn, the traffic will be more convenient. The town is full of people who moved from the frontier river, and for people like me who have been away all the year round, they basically don't know each other, and their childhood playmates go their separate ways, and the old man I saw when I was a child has passed away. The adults I saw were old, the children I saw were all married, and I didn't know whose children were running around on the street.

When I came to my hometown in the submerged area, the water level this year was not as high as last year, and the homestead of my hometown was already exposed. Most of the places where I played as a child have been covered with silt, and I can feel the place that is probably where, looking at the land in front of me that is submerged and exposed, and then submerged again, I recall the memories of my childhood, which is so familiar and strange.

I hope that the pace of hometown construction will be faster and more perfect, so that the migrants in the reservoir area will no longer have to leave their hometowns, and there will no longer be so many empty nesters and left-behind children. The living conditions of the people in the reservoir area are getting better and better.
