As we all know, Korea has always been a vassal state of China in history, and in fact, it was the territory of the Ming Empire.
After the sacrifice of Yi Sunsin hung out by the Ministry of Culture of South Korea, the inscription written by King Sejo of Joseon begins with the opening sentence that the Ming Navy is the governor of Joseon, and in the mausoleum of King Chunjong of North Korea, the beginning is also the same Ming Joseon, and there are countless other military generals in South Korea.
In addition to these existing Korean historical materials, South Korea was called North Korea in ancient times, which was originally a vassal of the Ming Empire, and it was also an internal domain. Therefore, strictly speaking, even if Korea is not the territory of the Ming Dynasty, it is also a vassal controlled by the Ming Dynasty's feudal system. According to the loose standard, North Korea can actually be regarded as the territory of the Ming Dynasty. However, it should be noted that although the Ming Dynasty had control over Korea, it did not set up a feudal ruling body in Korea, while the Nurgan Dusi of the Ming Dynasty actually set up an administrative body, so even if other vassal states are not counted as the territory of the Ming Dynasty, it is indeed not too much for the territory of the Ming Dynasty to be counted as an internal domain of the Ming Dynasty.
In fact, even the Koreans considered themselves to belong to the territory of the Ming Dynasty. According to the "Korean Record": As for the Ming Dynasty. Eight counties are subordinate to Liaodong. The Ming Dynasty was able to recruit troops and intervene in internal affairs of North Korea, and even paid a lot of tribute, and the economic exploitation was very obvious. But the Korean era name still uses the era name of the Ming Dynasty. The vassal states of the Ming Dynasty repeatedly obeyed the orders of the Ming Emperor and sent troops to help the Ming fight, and the Ming could use their military power. Even Joseon, as a vassal state, paid gold and silver, New Year's coins, horses, and beautiful women free of charge, in addition to the annual tribute. This point is recorded in the records of the Lee Dynasty compiled by the Koreans themselves.
In the Wanli War to Resist Japanese Aggression and Aid Korea, the military regulations issued by the Ming Dynasty prominently stated that "the territory of Korea is my land, and the Korean people are my people." And the full name of North Korea is actually "Ariake Joseon".
