On February 6, the launching ceremony of FAW-Volkswagen e-lane project was held in the intelligent three-dimensional storage center of Changchun base. Pan Zhanfu, Director, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of FAW-Volkswagen, Li Zhenkui, Director, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Labor Union, Jin Xianzhen, Deputy General Manager (Personnel), Dr. Gu Yunbin, Deputy General Manager (Technology), and other members of the Economic Management Committee, Yang Hai, Chinese Director of the Production Management Department, Uwe Schmitz, Foreign Director and personnel from relevant departments attended the ceremony. e-lane is an important milestone in FAW-Volkswagen's digital transformation in the field of production management, which integrates FAW-Volkswagen's latest achievements in intelligent warehousing and logistics and digital innovation, taking into account the needs of "rigidity" and "flexibility" in the first chain.
FAW-Volkswagen e-lane project was officially launched.
As the first digital and intelligent product of chain logistics based on the "chain" model in the automotive industry, which can not only respond to customer needs agilely but also achieve extremely lean production logistics costs, FAW-Volkswagen e-lane redefines the relationship between production planning and logistics management through the organic integration of "chain" mode, a new generation of dense automated storage technology and complex scheduling logic, greatly reduces resource requirements, and optimizes the cost structure of the first chain. It divides the vehicle order flow into a "chain" unit with 2 hours of output as the unit, the parts demand is generated according to the "chain", the business is supplied according to the "chain", the three-dimensional library is stored according to the "chain", and then according to the actual assembly progress of the body flow, the parts corresponding to the "chain" are taken out in an orderly manner from the three-dimensional warehouse and distributed to the production line to achieve the perfect match of the body flow and the parts flow; In addition, based on the "chain", e-lane applies a new generation of dense automatic storage technology to group a variety of parts for storage, compared with the traditional automated three-dimensional warehouse, greatly reduces the number of roadways, only uses an area of 3,300 square meters, to meet the storage needs of 17,000 square meters, to achieve a significant effect of 80% area optimization, and a breakthrough to solve big problems in a small space; At the same time, in terms of the system design of complex scheduling logic, FAW-Volkswagen has independently developed a virtual model, and continuously verifies and iteratively optimizes the system during the project to ensure the flexible distribution of production materials and meet the personalized needs of users and large-scale production of products to the greatest extent.
Based on the "chain" model, e-lane takes into account the "rigidity" and "flexibility" needs of the first chain to achieve the first in the industry.
Dr. Gu Yunbin, Deputy General Manager of FAW-Volkswagen (Technology), said that the landing operation of e-lane marks another leap in FAW-Volkswagen's first-class chain management capabilities; It is hoped that in the future, FAW-Volkswagen will make more digital innovation projects with leading concepts, advanced technologies and lean costs like e-lane, so as to enhance the company's core capabilities and strongly support the achievement of production and operation goals.
Dr. Gu Yunbin, Deputy General Manager of FAW-Volkswagen (Technology), delivered a speech on the spot.
From e-lane 10 successful practices in the Jetta brand, to e-lane 2The in-depth promotion of 0 to the Volkswagen brand, and then to the innovative breakthrough of e-lane in the Audi brand, not only marks the continuous evolution of FAW-Volkswagen in the field of production logistics, but also reflects FAW-Volkswagen's in-depth exploration and continuous expansion of digital value. In the face of the wave of digitalization, FAW-Volkswagen has accelerated the pace of digital transformation based on local needs, created 58 digital projects, including e-lane, realized flexible production upgrades, improved market response speed, shortened the delivery cycle of car bookings, and further enriched personalized customization options, which can meet the more diversified needs of end users in a shorter time.
FAW-Volkswagen continues to strengthen independent innovation and take the development path of "self-reliance, self-improvement, innovation and transformation".
Towering and fearing thousands of feet high, spring is the time of struggle. In the face of increasingly fierce competition in the automobile market, FAW-Volkswagen will unswervingly follow the development path of "self-reliance, self-reliance, innovation and transformation", continuously strengthen independent innovation, contribute wisdom and valuable experience to the development of China's automobile industry with self-improvement and confidence, and make unremitting efforts to achieve the goal of "automobile power".
