The ACCA Stage P subjects are professional-level courses and are relatively difficult. There are a total of six subjects, two of which are elective, and four are required for the exam. For students who want to pass the ACCA exam, which two subjects are relatively easy to choose? In this article, Mr. Rong Yue will introduce the characteristics of several subjects in the ACCA P stage, which one is simpler.
ACCA Phase P Subjects
The two compulsory subjects are (SBR) Strategic Business Report and (SBL) Strategic Business Leader; Choose two of the four subjects, which are (AFM) Advanced Financial Management, (APM) Advanced Performance Management, (ATX) Advanced Taxation, and (AAA) Advanced Audit & Assurance Business.
Which is easy to choose for the ACCA-P phase?
afm:Advanced Financial Management.
This subject is almost a compulsory subject for our Chinese candidates. AFM is a subject with more calculation questions in stage P, writing is difficult for us for Chinese candidates, but calculation is easy for us to master, so AFM is easier for Chinese candidates to pass.
apm:Advanced Performance Management.
It is suitable for those who are engaged in management positions in the enterprise. The exam questions usually define you as a management consultant of a company, a comprehensive analysis of the company's operations and performance evaluation. Through the study of this subject, you can speed up your promotion in the finance department, because you will analyze problems from a more strategic perspective and bring real value to the business.
atx:Advanced Taxation.
This subject is about advanced tax law, and more about British tax law, unless you are going to study or work in the UK, otherwise you should not spend a lot of time and energy learning British tax law. If you are not going abroad, it is not recommended to choose, this depends on personal needs.
aaa:Advanced Audit and Assurance.
This course focuses on various types of audit plans and reports of accounting firms, and the exam focuses on writing. It is recommended that students with relevant experience and good writing can consider taking this course first. The main contents of this course include the professional ethics of auditors, accounting issues and audit procedures, audit risk assessment, group audit, audit reports and other reports, non-audit business and management practices, etc. If your career plan is either or no, or you are already working in the Big Four, you can choose.
Of course, some students say that I don't think too much about the future development plan, so I will give you the most convenient solution: choose which of the basic subjects in your previous stage F is better.
