Previously, Gree Group was the controlling shareholder of Gree Electric Appliances, a listed company, and since 2006, Gree Group has gradually reduced its shareholding in Gree Electric Appliances. After several equity transfers, Gree Group holds the equity ratio of Gree Electric Appliances from 5028% to 1822%, and by the end of the third quarter of 2023, the shareholding ratio will be 344%, becoming the fourth largest shareholder of Gree Electric Appliances.
It is understood that the former chairman of Gree Group is Zhou Lewei. In 2016, Zhou Lewei succeeded Dong Mingzhu as chairman. At present, Dong Mingzhu is still the chairman, president and legal representative of Gree Electric Appliances.
