A piece of Ming history can still be used for reference!

On a snowy day, I read an intriguing history of the Ming Dynasty at home.

In the twelfth year of Yongle, Chengzu Zhu Di has successfully completed the second expedition to Mobei, and the world is stable and the Quartet surrendered. But on the other hand, Zhu Di also felt that the peaceful days had been too long, and many civil and military generals had also begun to be arrogant and lascivious, and unscrupulous.

One day, he was chatting with Yang Shiqi, the first assistant of one of the three Yangs, in the Imperial Garden. After chatting a few words about the government, Zhu Di said casually:

The world is too peaceful, these civil servants and military generals are afraid of making trouble, what can you do? ”

Yang Shiqi said respectfully: Taizu and Mr. Liu Ji also discussed this matter back then.

Zhu Di said: Oh? What they say, you tell me to hear it.

Yang Shiqi said: Liu Ji believes that after the world is stable, it is not terrible for civil servants to be greedy for ink, and it is not terrible for military generals to be arrogant, because there is a law of the court to restrain them. The most feared thing is that the civil ministers and military generals will unite to empty the imperial court, in which case the imperial court will fall into a great passive situation. For example, the Anshi Rebellion was caused by the military general An Lushan colluding with some corrupt civil servants in the imperial court

Zhu Di couldn't help but suddenly realize when he heard this, and praised Yang Shiqi with his chin.

At that time, in the Yongle Dynasty, the crown prince Zhu Gaochi was mostly supported by civil servants, while the Han king Zhu Gaochu was mostly surrounded by military generals, and the two competed for favor for twenty or thirty years, while Zhu Di played the art of balance.

Xie Jin, known as the world's greatest talent, occupies the crown prince and waving the flag and shouting, which is understandable, but Xie Jin's scholarly business is too heavy and secretly recruits some generals to use the prince. Zhu Di was furious when he heard this, thinking that Xie Jin had touched his bottom line, and acquiesced to Ji Gang, the leader of the Jinyi Guard, to freeze him to death.

In 1415, the scholar Xie Jin was killed on charges of "arrogance and rebellion", which he did not understand until his death.

A few years later, Ji Gang, the commander of the Jinyi Guard in the camp of the Han Dynasty, actually co-opted some civil servants for the use of the Han King, but he was also killed on the charge of "rebellion".

Poor Ji Gang cried when he died: I have no military power, although there are thousands of Jinyi guards in the two, but there are deputy commanders and many thousands of adults to contain me, how many people can I mobilize? How can you say the opposite? He will not come to his senses until he dies.

And all this, as the emperor, Zhu Di just looked at it coldly, and Yang Shiqi, as the first assistant, tasted tea indifferently.

In 1424 A.D., a generation of emperors became the ancestor Zhu Di, and suddenly died on the road of the five expeditions to the north of the desert - Yumu River. Yang Shiqi, Jin Youzi, and eunuch Ma Yun and others who were accompanying the car immediately blocked the news.

Yang Shiqi and his close minister Jin Youzi, who had not made an obvious statement on the issue of establishing the prince for many years, immediately sent someone to inform the crown prince Zhu Gaochi, who was far away in the capital, to prepare for forcibly ascending the throne, and on the other hand, they controlled the military power in the capital in the name of Zhu Di. Soon the crown prince Zhu Gaochi successfully ascended the throne for Mingrenzong. A few years later, Zhu Gaochi, the king of the Han Dynasty, was designed by Yang Shiqi to get rid of it, and at this time, Zhu Di's line was completely stable.

In fact, understanding this history is not for us to show off at the wine table, but to still have practical reference significance in enterprise management.

For example, you are the chairman and operator of a medium-sized company with 200 employees. The two key departments of the enterprise are nothing more than production technology and marketing sales, if the vice president or supervisor of any one of the departments plays with some garlands, you can not be too serious and discretionary, the water is clear, there is no fish!

But once the people from these two departments join forces to do something, you must not hesitate to get rid of them, because this is the rhythm of the boss of the sky.

As an executive, after being familiar with this history, you will also be enlightened, don't do things that threaten the boss's bottom line, otherwise you may not know how to go.
