In early January, I posted on Xiaohongshu that "170 Porsches were sold in a year" (including 164 new cars and 6 pre-owned cars, i.e. official used cars). Unexpectedly, this post became popular all of a sudden, and it also became the first place in Qingdao's local hot search, and I felt that I had suddenly become an "Internet celebrity", and even more than a dozen ** companies wanted to interview me, which made me feel very unreal.
In just a few days, my Douyin followers have risen from 4000+ to 340,000, and the number of live broadcasts can reach 7,000-8,000. The biggest impression is that there are more people who know me, and it is easier to make an order. Some customers came to me, and they also had the intention of buying a car, so they booked a car after a brief discussion.

After the explosion, rumors followed. My post was screenshotd** and there were a lot of rumors. For example, I earn 3 million a year, but I really don't, and the specific income is inconvenient to disclose, for a Porsche sales manager, it is normal to earn hundreds of thousands a year. Our commission calculation method is more complicated, the key models will be higher, and the full forward orders (i.e., customized orders, the delivery time is longer) will be relatively small.
Some people also say that I invite customers to dinner in order to sell cars, but in fact, we are very busy at work, and there are endless ** and endless shifts, so we don't have time to invite customers to dinner.
In the past few days, I have been busy refuting rumors, and our general manager also sent a ** to help me refute the rumors. There were a lot of (car purchase) clues in the background of social **, and I didn't have time to reply, and the company arranged for colleagues to help me reply.
Faced with the matter of "red", I am still relatively calm. If it happened in my 20s, I would have been excited, but now in my 30s, I'm more concerned about getting the job done. Have you docked with customers, have you arranged the delivery of each car, and can you spend a few days with your children this month? The rest, not so much. During the recent live broadcast, some people in the comment area said that I was ugly, and I took it as a compliment to my strong work ability. My family also told me not to be too high-profile and not broadcast live for the time being, I don't think this incident will have much impact on my life.

For me, the original intention of starting to do self-**** is to let more people know about me, and when there is a need to buy a car, I may think that there is a Molly in Qingdao that sells Porsche, and then come to me to buy a car. Now that I'm getting closer to that goal, I'll continue to use these platforms to get more people to know me.
Starting in 2023, our company encourages everyone to embrace the new **, and one or two hours of live streaming every day has become a part of our work. At the beginning of the broadcast, there were very few people in the live broadcast room, not even more than 10 people, which was equivalent to no effect. Later, it was changed to a short **, and I slowly persevered, and I also had three or four thousand fans on Xiaohongshu and Douyin.

Why can I sell 170 Porsches
I joined Porsche Qingdao in June 2018 and am now in my sixth year. For most of the year, I could only sell one or two cars a month. Because I didn't work in Qingdao before, I didn't accumulate customer resources.
At that time, I often wondered why it was so easy for others to sell a car, and whether I was incapable. When I worked at Audi before, I did well, but after coming to Porsche, the gap was too big. If the sales are not good, I have no confidence, and I only speak submissively, and I dare not speak loudly to the leader, and I don't even dare to go up to the floor where the leader's office is located.
However, no matter how difficult it was, I never thought about leaving, and I always had a belief in my heart that I wanted to put down roots here.

Every morning meeting, the general manager would talk about the professional knowledge of the Porsche brand and models, and we would go to the Porsche Centre in Shanghai every month for training, and I tried to absorb everything as much as possible, digest it, and turn it into my own knowledge.
I still remember the New Year of 2019, the leader asked everyone what their New Year's wishes were, and my wish at that time was that in 2019, I must survive at Porsche. As a result, it did get better from that year onwards, and I gradually got my own place in this store.
On Valentine's Day in 2019, the company learned that I was going to get married in June, and secretly found my husband to plan a marriage proposal ceremony, and at the same time did some brand promotion in combination with the proposal. There is a large glass box at the proposal site, covering a Porsche sports car, plus the decorations are very eye-catching, and the company also invited a band and some anchors to broadcast live, and the atmosphere is full.
At that time, this incident was relatively out of the circle in Qingdao, and many customers who bought cars would come to me on purpose, which was a small twist for me.
After the snowball rolls, people are more confident. Later, I gave birth to a baby, and after returning to work, my performance was not affected much, but I was more motivated.

In fact, a good sales is a master of time management. I used to live far away and had to commute for two hours a day, so I would even quickly put on makeup while waiting for the traffic light to save time. Save all the time you can compress and sell your car. For example, I will buy several pairs of shoes at a time, and others may see that I wear the same pair of shoes all the time, but in fact, I buy several pairs of the same shoes to save shopping time.
I'm more outgoing and welcoming, and when a customer comes into the store, I never pick a customer, even if I just come in and have a look, I will hand over a cup of tea and invite the customer to sit down and talk. I talk to customers, it's a ladder. At first, we will talk about some information related to the car, and then understand the needs of customers, such as who is driving, how many people are in the family, etc., and then make personalized recommendations. Porsche Sales has a fixed process for dealing with customers, and I will adjust it according to the customer's status.
Take every customer seriously and there will always be unexpected surprises. Once, I delivered a vehicle to a user for a colleague and talked a lot about the precautions for using the car. The customer thought I was more professional, and later recommended his friend to buy a car, and so far, helped me sell two Paramelas, a 718. We became friends.

In my case, the repurchase rate of old customers can reach 20%. I have a regular client who has two generations of Cayenne and has ordered a new Cayenne with me. Recently, he told me that his wife and son are planning to come to our shop to buy a car.
In addition to this, it is also important to think more about the customer.
There was a customer who was going to buy a Paramela and when I ordered the car, I learned that he was about to get married, and this car will be used as a wedding car to witness the happiness of the two couples. This client is more introverted, and I guess he hasn't proposed yet, and the inquiry confirmed my suspicion. When it was time to pick up the car, I suggested to the client that it was okay to propose on the day of the pick-up, and I would arrange the delivery area in advance.
On the day of delivery, I prepared flowers, balloons and a salute, and the client proposed to his fiancée according to the script we agreed upon, and everything went well, and soon they were married.
In the future, it will also sell Porsche, and will not switch to new energy
My personal efforts to sell so many cars in one year are partly due to the changes at the car company and company level.

The decline in sales of Porsche is actually greatly affected by the external environment. After all, for those who have just arrived at Porsche, luxury cars are no longer a must-have in today's car market. Everybody's budgets are shrinking, but the impact on the mass market is even greater. There is a saying that the decision-making time of ** models is getting shorter, and the decision-making time of low-cost models is getting longer, and I quite agree with this.

However, the top luxury car market should not be affected too much. For the real target customers of luxury cars, their (wealth) base is there, and buying a car is not a big expense for them. Just like now, despite the bad environment, sales of luxury bags are still booming. I have friends who sell for brands like Bentley, Ferrari, etc., and they do sell very well.
I have been working in a luxury car brand for so many years, and I have not felt the obvious impact from a new energy brand. Because I share my sales results on social **, some new energy brands have thrown olive branches, but I am in my thirties, and I hope that my job can be more stable, and I love my current job and have no plans to change brands.
It may not be possible to sell as many cars this year as it will in 2023 because Porsche has already made production cuts. At the end of 2023, Porsche has also lifted the sales requirements for dealers, so we are less under pressure.
